Snap Fitness 24/7 Wantirna

Negative experience: Anyone that says this is a good gym with good equipment is lying, I walked in and walked out I am currently staying in the east of Melbourne and was using my membership for my normal snap and the state of this gym is disgusting. The equipment is old, with no clear weights written on them. It is small and dark and uncomfortable I have put my membership on hold until I am back at my normal area because of this. This Snap and Croydon truely give snap a bad name. A major upgrade is needed and new equipment, it seems these franchisees have no care for the state of their equipment.

Negative experience: Place is dirty and trying to work out And work up and sweat and every fan in the place was on was too cool. Couldn’t heat up enough. Won’t be back Blackburn the best so far otherwise, it’s not our place no Staff LOL could be worse ps it would be nice if people would use towels specially when they sweat I must say Staff. Not friendly at all non-existing and when they do come in, they don’t even say hello acknowledge you at all nothing. What a shame won’t be back

Negative experience: Can you guys please get back to me about cancelling my membership. It's almost been a full fortnight again and I don't want the money to get taken out.

Negative experience: The experience has only gotten worse over the years. I joined when Shane was the manager and he was great. Since his departure there has been 3 new managers. While you are given the impression that the membership is week on week basis, you are still required to give a 30 day notice to cancel. I have had more than a few instances during the lockdown when I didn't authorised my membership to be resumed but the money was promptly taken from my CC. One time they said since they can't do a refund they will add a credit to my account but I'm yet to see that happen after more than 6 months. The gym equipment is basic IMO and a bit old and worn out. The only reason I still go there is because it's the nearest.

Positive experience: I am not a member but I have started going there twice a week for exercise rehabilitation. I find the manager to be welcoming and I got given a tour of his facility which made me feel welcomed. The equipment is very good and it was nice and cool as well with the temperature set at 23 degrees. There is a funky music station where you can select your favourite songs and it is very clean with hand sanitiser everywhere. I do not feel intimidated going there at all where I’ve been the only female there. I also like the fact they have secure swipe card entry and security cameras everywhere.

Fantastic experience: The new club manager Tim Hesketh has proven to be someone who is reliable and has the best interest of members in mind. Had significant refundable amounts outstanding due to mistakes of old management (I'm no longer a member here) - Tim resolved this quickly and proactively despite not being the one originally responsible for the errors and despite the fact I am no longer a member. Much appreciated!

Fantastic experience: I've been a member here for the past 18months and this gym has a homey and comfortable feeling. I have worked with PT Vojo and is currently with PT Nicole and they are really knowledgeable, caring and motivational. The new manager Tim actually cares about the members needs more than the previous managers. It's an overall really good gym would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Snap fitness wantirna is truly an amazing gym, the vibe in the gym just makes you always wanna go there. Not to mention the staff are absolutely gorgeous who have endless time and patience for anyone. I’m currently doing PT with Nicole who is truly amazing, Im always motivated because of her encouragement and support. The change I’ve seen in my body is beyond amazing and I’ve only been with her for 3 weeks today highly recommend Nicole to any one and everyone Nicole you’re truly the best and I’m forever grateful for the changes your helping me make in my life. As for the manager Tim your presence at the gym 5 days a week Is highly appreciated and you make a difference.

Negative experience: Membership fee $99 per year and $75 per month

Negative experience: Saw a great offer on FB. Sent text got phone call back. So went in yesterday to signe up. Tim was there and I wasn’t comfortable with him. He seemed more interested in the money. Went back to cancel today and was told by same guy I wouldn’t get my money back. I said I saw a 48 hour cooling off Periode. He said he could not give me my money back but could cancel my membership. That’s the bloody least he can do. Walked out still angry. Saw him smirk too. I’m glad I’m not going there. But I want my money back. Is that how you make your money? Pritty sad

Fantastic experience: Have to say that I've been a member since the first year it opened and I have always loved this gym. Recently since Hollywood took over there has been a few additions which have been great e.g. new equipment, new fitness programs, more instructors and an awesome myZone monitor system (my fav). All staff super friendly, Ladies welcome, Guys just there to workout and get fit, pretty much an awesome gym.

Fantastic experience: These guys are awesome. Been going here for about 6 months and lost 16kgs so far and have heaps more energy. Shane is a top bloke and is always freindly and greets you when you come in. Great atmosphere in the gym too. Aaron is my personal trainer and he is great too is stays and contact and helps where ever he can. Love snap wantirna.

Positive experience: Good gym to join, especially for beginners. Environment is friendly and welcoming, price point is decent, equipment is pretty good. Not 5 star as you can find better priced, larger gyms out there, however their 'vibe' is quite different.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best gym I have been to! Dont feel uncomfortable going unlike I have at other gyms! Shane is an amazing trainer and listens to what I want to work on and helps me to the best of his ability! The rest of the staff are all really helpful also and would 100% recommend for everyone to join up!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to snap for awhile now and I have to give the team at snap fitness wantirna a big shout out. For always being welcoming,friendly and informative. Also for Shane who has turned the club around by implementing more classes, moving equipment around to make the gym look more appealing and always checking up on his members to see if they need any help or tips. A few changes like these and you can see it’s made a real difference to the morale of the club. To sum it all up snap wantirna is the place to be!

Fantastic experience: Just started here at Snap Fitness in Wantirna with my BrotherBoi. Head trainer and manager there (Shane) Is an absolute Legend !!! Full of great advice !!! And could answer any questions that we had with his 20 years experience. No B.S He runs a clean ship and i would recommend this gym to any type of person.

Positive experience: I've been a member of the snap chain since 2013 so I've been to a few different ones and I like this gym a lot. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 4 is the toilets are always disgusting to the point of me having to hold on and that isn't necessarily always the staff's fault but it could also be a mere lack of respect by the other members and it would be good if people cleaned their machines off after using them more often too... it's just common courtesy.. In this cold and flu season it's so important to be sanitary for each other and our selves. If my review came across rude that wasn't my intention, however I feel people these days are too scared to be honest. Peace :)
