Fantastic experience: Our daughter has been taking lessons at the village swim school for the past year. Through weekly classes and swim intensives over holidays she's been able to progress into more advanced classes. We appreciate all of the swim safety she is learning as well as technique.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a fear of going underwater, lacked confidence to swim anything more than a metre or two and was scared to attend swimming lessons. She now looks forward to her swimming lesson every week and is swimming longer distances each time using the skills she's learning from Riley with support and care. My daughter always leaves the Village Gym & Swim School feeling very happy and proud of her efforts and progress. I too am amazed (and relieved) how far she's come just this term!

Fantastic experience: The PHYSIO’s are the best. The gym is smallish but well appointed with equipment and great fitness classes run on a regular basis.

Fantastic experience: The swim school instructors are brilliant, professional and offer convenient and a variety of times. The lessons are usually intimate no more than 4 students per session/ which is great. Been attending here now for 4 years

Fantastic experience: Jesse and Sue have improved our kids confidence and technique in swimming so much. My son couldn’t swim at all on his first day and on just his third lesson he became a little fish. They make it so much fun that my kids ask me if it’s swimming lessons day every day.

Fantastic experience: We love the Village Swim! My son looks forward to his classes week after week and there has been an obvious improvement in his swim skills. Jesse is a fantastic coach and a lovely addition to the team - classes are always fun and the kids leave the pool smiling. We’ve tried a few other swim schools locally but the facilities and atmosphere at the Village Swim are far superior.

Fantastic experience: Our daughter absolutely loves coming to weekly swimming lessons. She has developed so many new skills since starting classes as a baby. I know these skills will help keep her safe in the water, and give her more confidence as she grows. We are so grateful to have such amazing staff, like Miss Sue ❤️. I highly recommend

Fantastic experience: My children (4 and 6) have been having swimming lessons for over a year with Ellen and I am very happy with their progress. Ellen is an excellent teacher - she is engaging and the kids have a lot of fun whilst also understanding the importance of water safety and good listening skills. The lessons are always different and imaginative which means the kids don’t get bored and continue to want to return each term. I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else for their lessons

Positive experience: Good clean gym with a good basic setup not to many clowns crashing down weights because they can't control them.

Positive experience: Great little gym. Has everything you need. Only downfall is the fans and aircon. Makes it very uncomfortable to train with 100km fan in your face and cold air constantly blowing on your back.

Ellen also takes the mums and bubs which I take my 1 year old to and she makes it light and fun but also focuses on the importance of water safety. Would HIGHLY recommend Ellen to children of all ages.

(Shout out to Ester for her attention to detail and her kind and compassionate heart.) A wonderful location I would recommend to all.

Fantastic experience: We had a month in Pottsville on holidays and came to Village gym to supplement our surfing. What an amazing place! The staff are friendly, the equipment is cleaned and maintained regularly, and having access to the pool was was perfect for our training. Having all hours access was a great little bonus as well! Wish it was our local gym.

Fantastic experience: Great community with excellent facilities. The group classes are awesome and the trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and have diverse fitness experiencee. You can find a trainer for all your health and fitness goals.

They have morning and afternoon classes for those not wanting to train solo. It is affordable , convenient , and has a great friendly local vibe.

Fantastic experience: The Village Gym has helped me so much. After a few accidents and having injury, I put my fitness to the back of any priority list as it was painfull and unenjoyable. The classes are run by super helpfull, relatable staff that are passionate about their work and helping people to get on track and improve. They have really helped me to get back into my fitness. I would highly recommend them to anyone...plus the other gym members are super nice and friendly. What's not to love?

Fantastic experience: The whole Village Gym family are great from the classes to the swim school. They are welcoming and supportive. Ellen works magic with the kids in the pool. Erin is so kind and loving in the crèche. Ester and Leah assist with all of your requests you ask of them and helpful in guiding you in the correct moments in a class. Peris is kind and cruel at the same time with his routines. And Brendon work his magic hands with those little niggles. Great job everyone Thanks for choosing Pottsville to make your home

Fantastic experience: ahh yes the Pottsville Village Gym , I walk my dogs 7days a week past there and stop for a coffee 6 days out of 7 only from the friendly courteous staff only because they aren't open on Sunday :-( , cant give anything but praise to the people who run the coffee shop , by the way coffee is excellent too.

Fantastic experience: My 18 month old Daughter and I do mums and bubs swimming lessons we started when she was 9 months old. Ellen is amazing when we started my daughter cried every lesson now its her favourite day of the week and has gotten so good at swimming its fun as well all the kids in her class love it. the other staff are super lovely and helpful as well I highly recommend them

Fantastic experience: Convenient location. New equipment. Clean work out area. Lots of machines and free weights. Everyone seems happy to work around each. It's great to have a new, well looked after fitness centre that has professional physio therapists, plus offers gym weight training, PT training, various exercise classes including a perfect pool for swim lessons and Aqua aerobics instructor class for all types.
