Fantastic experience: Great place

Negative experience: Friendly enough staff, but no where on their website or signs does it mention a child to adult ratio. I took my 3 kids, (5years and 2year old twins) and was turned away because apparently I needed another adult. Doesn't matter that they do swimming lessons and I have looked after all 3 kids plenty of times in the water. I drove all the way from Aldinga. This should be made very clear on the website. Even the signs as you enter or the price board. No where is it mentioned. Really disappointed, as are the kids. I would have been fine with it had I known, and made other plans accordingly.

Negative experience: Gym is only suited to rehab or if your over 70. Poorly equipped

Negative experience: Bad service, the employees at the desk treated me like I didn’t matter and bad communication

Fantastic experience: After an initial hiccup with paperwork the Manager Sally made everything seamless. The initial Gym Assessment was very thorough and made me more confident to start my exercise regime. Great team

Fantastic experience: Since I joined I’ve found everything at the aquatic centre excellent- staff are friendly, the whole building is always clean, gym is well equipped and there is a good mix of high quality classes. Definitely recommend

Negative experience: Very disappointed with our 1st visit. School holidays and came with 3 grandsons. No inflatables as they were only provided for 2 hours... Nothing else for 10-12 year olds to do. An expensive dip in the pool.

Fantastic experience: The aqua fit programme at the Fleurieu Aquatic centre is outstanding. The leaders are well trained and vary in style of presentation. I try to attend 3 to 4 times per week. The health and fitness value is immense and the service offers something for all ages within the membership.

Fantastic experience: The gym is well equipped with just about everything anyone needs to work out. The pools include swimming lanes and separate areas for children.In another section for rehabilitation there is a large pool plus a hydro therapy pools. There are several lifesavers on duty in both areas. The whole facility is well maintained. The Aquatic Centre is a valuable community asset.

Fantastic experience: Love coming here to swim in the clean pools and my grandchildren love it here too. So beautiful to be able to sit on the lawn area to eat lunch , the playground area is great and the outside water fun too. Lovely friendly staff. Would be great if were opened later on weekends.

Fantastic experience: I love the Fleurieu Aquatic Centre! It's so spacious and clean. It's my second home. I swam in many centres and this is t h e best. I can do my laps in a relaxed atmosphere and have coffee afterwards. I also go the friendly gym twice a week. There's a good atmosphere, variable music for baby boomers and the young. People range in age from 13 or so to 80 odd. It's a wonderful community space for people of all ages, backgrounds and countries!! Come and visit. Health is wealth.

Fantastic experience: I'm very much enjoying being a member of the Fleurieu Aquatic Centre. I use the gym two to three times a week and the pool occasionally. Very clean facilities, well-maintained equipment. However, the biggest plus is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Makes a big difference. As someone with a background in large organisations, happy and helpful staff comes from good leadership.

Positive experience: I use the hydrotherapy pool weekly. The staff are always very friendly, the pool always sparkling. It is a pleasure to come and use it, and the coffee is great at the cafe. Caroline G.

Fantastic experience: One of the things I love about the gym at the Fleurieu Aquatic Centre are the large windows with the beautiful outlook. I hope you don't ever introduce large tv screens like other gyms have. It's so nice to be able to go to a gym that has lots of natural light and lovely views of the local wetlands and trees.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately the Swim Group Training has been cancelled for the rest of this year and should resume in January 2024. I still went for a swim anyway.

Negative experience: Rude staff wasn’t happy when a rude staff member kicked my son out of toddler pool 3 hrs before closing I won’t return

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Centre for about 5 years, participating in Aqua fitness classes and hydrotherapy classes and using the hydrotherapy pool. The classes are always great and the work that the instructors put into preparation is very impressive. It provides fun and fitness!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Swim centre - Our son has been attending lessons since he was under 3 he struggled with placing his head under water - we decided to enrol in 2 lessons a week for a short period of time - fast forward he is now 6 and can jump in the deep end of the pool the excitement and pride when he does this is just amazing to see :). The instructors have been patient, supportive and encouraging. Thankyou so much for supporting our mini to developing skills that will be with him for life :) We appreciate it :)

Negative experience: Very poor swimming lessons which are not value for money. I have cancelled my son's class because there were seven children in it. The kids were colliding with each other, the instructors were not giving any substantial feedback or correcting his technique. They were not paying attention to what the kids were doing. Having gone to over two years of lessons now, the quality of instruction has decreased considerably, and I am throwing good money after bad. I have tried to cancel the lessons but they insist on emailing a form out - they will not do this over the phone and there is no option to cancel on their member portal. Archaic!

Fantastic experience: The staff were very helpful and clients also very helpful and friendly. Facility ticks all the boxes with 2 enormous pools plus a very well equipped gym. Highly recommend this to anyone considering joining a gym the Fleurieu Aquatic Centre scores 10 in my book

Fantastic experience: This centre is lovely. The hydrotherapy pool is always warm and clean and the staff are friendly. Change rooms and toilets are also clean and well cared for.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love the Aquatic and Gym facilities. There is no better place to keep fit and healthy. The staff and instructors make my wife's and myself welcome every time we attend. I can't praise the Instructors and staff enough as it so professionally run. We have made many friends.

Positive experience: Really amazing! Doesn't have a water slide but it does have an amazing outdoor playground and water area as well as fantastic indoor section for kids that's very safe and not too deep

Fantastic experience: Great clean facility. Nice and warm in winter with great pool temp. Generally a lane is always free.

Negative experience: Membership cancellation process is from the dark ages! You can't just cancel over the phone... The smell of chlorine is overpowering, far worse than other places I've been. With a captive audience in a regional area, it seems the motivation to improve is lacking.

Positive experience: Nice facility but should be for 25 million, shame its not a full size swimming pool all the swimming carnivals they could have had and the revenue it would have bought to Victor harbor. Staff are friendly and swimming teachers are fantastic

Fantastic experience: I am grateful for the fleurieu Aquatic Centre as it has many different classes and lessons for all ages from babies to oldies. They also cater for the disabled. It’s kept very clean and the staff are always lovely. The cost of membership is reasonable too.

Fantastic experience: We love using the Fleurieu AquaticCentre for the hydrotherapy pool. The temperature is lovely and warm and it has good access and the walk through spa is excellent. We bought our towelling robes there which are practical and colourful prompting many good comments. It is always clean and the staff are very helpful.

Fantastic experience: Facilities are always clean and tidy. Spacious and numerous change room/ toilet facilities. Friendly staff. Everything you could ask for in a gym to stay motivated to move from Heated pools, Childrens pool, weights and cardio gym equipment, gym classes, Creche and Social events. So good!!

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff and great premises! Our daughters have made amazing progress in swimming in the last months thanks to the lessons they followed at the aquatic centre. We do like having a snack or chips at the café too. We sometimes wish there were more healthy - no sugar/real fruit - options.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities, staff helpful and accomodating. Good system for paying, and easy card scanning. Good coffee shop, also sells swimwear. Plenty of parking and disabled spaces. Recommend it 100%!!

Fantastic experience: Even though I've only been a member for such a short time, I've found the swimming facility to be EXCELLENT. A choice of pools, the times of availability are excellent and they do a variety of classes as well! So far, that's all I can say from my own personal experience ... and the next part of my fitness journey will be trying out the Gym. I've now started at the Gym and the help from the staff is excellent.

Fantastic experience: This is the perfect place for our whole family. We all go twice a week, our preschoolers go to crèche while I do a gym workout and my partner swims laps, then we all swim together. The kids also do swimming lessons here and we all play in the pool together afterwards. Great fun.

Fantastic experience: Great staff, helpful and friendly. There is a sense of community where the regular users are considerate of others, follow protocols and are happy to say hello and have a chat but give you space when you are working out. Rarely so busy that I can't do what I want when I need to and the equipment suits my needs. It's good to know I can go for a swim after training in the gym. It is the best facility in the area with ample parking and a nice little coffee kiosk. It will be even better once Covid restrictions are no longer in place!

Fantastic experience: The facility is modern, clean and bright. The staff are warm and friendly while being very professional. I had a long gap from my induction to attending a class and the staff remembered me and made sure I was OK with the exercises I was doing. I was amazed at the care they showed and really appreciated their interest. Over and above expectation.
