Monbulk Aquatic Centre

Fantastic experience: These guys are fantastic. The teachers are wonderful and my kids just love their lessons. My kids have come to swimming lessons late, but have learnt really quickly. The standout for me though is how helpful all the admin staff are. I'm constantly rescheduling and booking make up sessions or running late or having some drama or another, and the staff are so patient with me, and work with me to find a solution every time. When one of my kids moved up a level and her twin sister was left in the lower level, the supervisors happily agreed to test the twin the following week, and their older sister the week after, which was very considerate. They're all-round champions. I also *love* that my kids can come swim at the pool absolutely anytime for free, because they are enrolled for lessons. Fabulous. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Went for a casual swim with my partner. Only 6.50 per person. Big enough pool. Also has snacks and drinks at the counter.

Positive experience: Swim here pretty regularly, good public area. Can get pretty busy though, and there always seems to be tiles broken so sections are blocked off.

Fantastic experience: We Were having afternoon tea in the park next to the gym & swimming centre public toilets play ground under cover BBQ & Bush walks are all here a couple of local families were in the fully equiped playground & pointed out the stream that ran around the bush land beyond the soccer oval. Many parrot's sing their songs to you whilst visiting this parkland, only down side was a dirty BBQ

Positive experience: Nice friendly staff but the heated pool that is best for baby's is always roped off for lessons even though there are hardly any kids. They only leave a small space for the public. When it's busy you feel like you're packed in like sardines.

Fantastic experience: Booked our son's seventh birthday party here, and we all think it was his best yet. Jordan and Beth were wonderful with the children - friendly, attentive, and even gave them a few impromptu swimming tips along the way. The facilities were immaculate, the price was very reasonable, and the location is beautiful.

Fantastic experience: A great place for all ages. There's a tiny pool where babies can crawl about in and a young childs' pool. The main pool has fast lanes, slow lanes and swimming about randomly lanes. They provide aqua aerobics and there's a gym . There are life guards and you can even buy togs, goggles and other swimming related stuff. After all that there's a fab cafe and they do mighty fine coffee there. All staff were really friendly too. I promise I don't work there. It really is a great place.

Positive experience: This pool is furniture in the Dandenongs. Has been there since the dawn of time. It was revamped in the early 2000s and is a great centre. All year operations with the outdoor facilities opening in the warmer months. Great for the local schools and the swimming lessons are perfect for students. Only a 25m pool - but with limited nearby options it does get crowded in Summer. The next closest pool is Belgrave which is also limited in size and doesn't have all year round operations.
