Negative experience: Staff at the cafe a Beechboro don't listen and constantly get my order wrong. Very frustrating. They just don't seem to care. If you order food speak slow and double check your order because the seem to hire incompetent people

Fantastic experience: The Library is very big and stocked really well. The Swimming Pool is very great. The Toilets are very clean as well as the showers.

Negative experience: If you book Kindy gym and your children test positive for influenza A or COVID. Don’t expect a credit or a class you can make up on another day. They just tell you story there is nothing we can do and take your money. Horrible Service!

Fantastic experience: I came here to learn how to swim, and the coaches are all very friendly, patient, and professional. They have taught me many useful techniques that helped me improve a lot. I’ve gained more confidence in swimming and started to really enjoy it!

Negative experience: Referees need proper coaching and communication skills in the Men's Basketball League at this establishment. As a former WABL Referee and Player, the calls that are made were very unprofessional and highly questionable. I understand we cant get every call perfect, but its come to the point where even untrained people could do a better job officiating. The management must be held accountable to provide proper FIBA course training to the green shirts and especially the questionable level one (black/white) referees.

Fantastic experience: There was a young female staff doing the coffee machine at the Swan Active cafe who was so kindly meticulous in making sure my kid's babycino was not too hot. She kept testing it to ensure the milk temperature was safe and you can tell she does her job with ethics and pride. Thank you young lady and hope you see this word of encouragement, you will surely go far and do well in life seeing as you have a spirit of excellence even for the small jobs ♥️. Overall staff at reception are always pleasant and helpful in all things . The best swim instructors around too for the little kiddies. Love the family vibes at Swan Active Beechboro

Positive experience: Whirlpool is a lot of fun, kids went back two days in a row just for that while we were visiting the Swan Valley. Lifeguards are attentive and friendly and not over the top when telling kids off for dangerous behaviour. There does need to be an extra staff member at reception as the wait to buy casual entry tickets was excessive. Toilets were also closed meaning we had to exit the pool area and go back through the electronic gates. This wouldn't be a problem but our passes expired during the hour we were there and we couldn't get back in.

Negative experience: Carly at the front reception desk was lovely, but she was the only thing that was. The pool was segmented up into sections for swimming lessons and there was only a tiny square available for swimming, if you could actually swim in water 0.6m deep. Why would swimming access be sold when there isn't actually anywhere for kids to swim? The pool itself is very small, there is no ventilation so it is humid and smelly. Would not recommend. Bayswater Waves is 10 mins away, same price, and actually has pools available to swim in.

Fantastic experience: Nice 25m heated indoor pool. 6am morning swimmers are very considerate and friendly. Staff here is super friendly and helpful towards tourists like me. The changing rooms are clean and new. Free use of 4 digit lockers.

Negative experience: The front staff been very rude. Never calls back to the concerns. Puts on hold for so long. Have to hang up and call back again. Not very helpful. Just waiting for my credit to finish and will be changing the place.

Negative experience: At the pool right now. They're not putting on whirlpool today..... Too hard. Kids playing with noodles, not allowed to do that miserable lifeguards stood in their room rather than lifeguarding. Disappointed will go to bayswater waves in future.

Positive experience: Very disgruntled after being turned away from using the pool at 3pm on a Sunday as my son was over 5 years old. There was a woman’s only pool swim on the opening hours stated the pool was open to 5pm. They have since changed the time of this to 5pm.

Fantastic experience: Baby swimming lessons: I have been taking my Granddaughter who is 8 mths old to swimming lessons on a Wednesday at 9am with 'Nicole' as the teacher, for 4 x weeks now, she is incredible! She set my mind at ease made me feel welcome, I cannot believe how amazing, friendly, beautifully natured but professional she is with the bubs in the group! My Granddaughter is absolutely flourishing and I would highly recommend 'Nicole' for your baby to learn how to swim, in such a positive environment! ✨️

Negative experience: I just want to express my concerns about the consistency and fairness of the netball umpiring at Swan Active Beechboro. I have noticed what appears to be unequal treatment in officiating, leading to frustration and a sense of unfairness. It is important for the integrity of the game and the enjoyment of all participants that officiating is consistent and fair across the board. I've spoken with a number of players who consistently feel disheartened by what is perceive as unfair calls week after week, leading to a sense of frustration and disservice with the overall great experience of what social netball should be! I kindly request a review of umpiring practices to ensure a more balanced and consistent approach for all teams. Your attention to this matter would greatly enhance the overall experience for participants. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, great variety of group fitness options for walks of life, amazing atmosphere - family oriented, welcoming and inclusive. Could do with a separate and private spa / sauna / steam room area. Pricing is a little bit higher than their competitors but you have the convenience of everything you need under one roof. It's only been a week but so far I would totally recommend I still like swan active but the only issue I have is they don't update their website therefore the information can be incorrect which doesn't help my situation and it normally leaves me explaining myself to receptionist who sometimes is to busy defending the website instead of finding a solution

Fantastic experience: Have joined up a few weeks ago and enjoying it but the absolute best part of joining has been the crèche there. The ladies that work there are all so lovely and good with my 5 month old baby. I was most worried about trialing the crèche than anything but every time I drop my baby off there I leave super happy knowing he’s with them! 10/10

Fantastic experience: I signed up about a month ago! This is by far the best gym I've ever signed up to for the price. The range of fitness classes is unreal and the instructors are fabulous! So glad I joined this gym :)

Negative experience: Absolutely rubbish will never be coming back kids can’t do this can’t do that can’t jump in the water cant go in most the lanes couldn’t even pull themselves up on the pole for the walk way if u want your kids to have fun don’t go here not to mention the old guy who is meant to be a life guard he is more worried about the rubber Mat on the walkway then lives the kids moved it by accident like 2 inches and they were told they can’t do that he should go push trolleys for a living I reckon

Positive experience: Watching Swan Active on social media they are trying to look really customer focused but this is not what I experienced. The pools are jam packed during swim lessons and there is no space for my daughter to use her kick board without bumping into other kids - This was brought up with front reception staff with no real care response. The front reception staff seem disinterested and argumentative as soon as an issue is brought up. Gave stars only for the awesome swim teachers, they are always lovely.

Fantastic experience: Our son is learning how to swim there about five times so far. He love water activitie, since first day we brought him into the pool. Teachers were so kindly and friendly, we definitely had great time in this place. We look forward to having more fun with our son goes to next level.

Negative experience: I took my 4yr old to kindy gym here end of last year. We attended half the sessions, they knew him by name. On the last day of the term every child there got a certificate except for mine because we hadn't enrolled for the full term. Please tell me how a 4yr old will understand why he is excluded from an award ceremony because of such a small semantic? I was absolutely livid and he cried the gymnasium down for 10mins. Very poor understanding of children's growth and development to allow that to happen.

Positive experience: I've been going for years. Mostly Zumba Gold and water aerobics. It's great. Nice staff.

Negative experience: Most of the refs are absolutely terrible if I were the manager's I would sack them all and hire refs who actually have eyes. Some of em are good just that the bad out weighs the good. The chips are good just why does the canteen close so early. And all the food is so expensive, I could go to maccas, hungry jacks or kfc and get a full meal for the price of a drink and chips here. Also fix the vending machines I've got ripped off, it didn't register my money, it breaks down easily and it's overpriced. And the people at the front desk are so miserable.

Positive experience: Great swimming classes but not happy that I couldn't buy a take away coffee without showing a vaccination pass. I showed the law to the cafe staff clearing allowing take away coffee and was refused service. I am vaccinated but refuse to bow down to this insanity

Positive experience: The pool is quite squishy for lessons. I guess this could be due to Midland being closed (?). The swim instructors have all been lovely. The hot chips at the cafe are 10/10!

Negative experience: Never been there before so checked on line how busy it was. NOT BUSY.. so off I go, pay over $12 to go for swim and spa. Obviously there was a school there for lessons. All that was available was a walking lane and a swimming lane. BOTH full! Spa was tiny and …FULL. I didn’t even get a toe wet. If that’s the quiet time, I’d hate to see it when it’s busy! Won’t bother going back again!

Positive experience: Visited this place for 3 days. Took Body Pump, HIIT class, Yoga and Body Works and paid about 15$ for each as a casual visitor. The experience was border line disappointing. The instructors were only average - didn’t seam to genuinely care about the participants’ satisfaction and well being. On the last day it became obvious that the manager Laura Cooper probably needs to do a better job. She instituted a culture of “rushed” and manic instructors who addressed patrons as if they are cattle- going through the motions to get the class in and out and over with. When my 30min HIIT class started 10min late and music only started playing 15min into the class and the class had to be finished on time without making up the lost time, and the “fill in” staff member who is not an instructor didn’t even apologise- I was disappointed and asked for a refund. The manager Laura didn’t want to refund me, didn’t apologise and instead started arguing that the class was only 8min late! That’s some customer service.This beautiful facility deserves better management.

Positive experience: Generally a pleasant gym....although the minimum age for for the gym is 16 which a tad ridiculous. On a couple of occasions ( usually weekends during events) I’ve seen young children in the gym using equipment. Which is frustrating when my own 15 year old daughter can’t get a membership.

Negative experience: Gym,pool and spa are all fairly good, can get very busy on saturday. It is usually clean. A good range of gym equipment and heated pool I have found on several occasions that the gym on saturday morning has not be cleaned overnight. Towels and dirt and old tissues on the floor of the gym a dead give away,and the hand sanitiser empty ( at least provide sanitiser if you are not cleaning properly ). The weekend opening times are a disgrace ..8.00 to 3.00 is not good enough for a facility so well patronised.(hence the 2 star rating) Open earlier please. Loud annoying radio in the gym.

Negative experience: Well I am warning all parents about the creche, i came in from class early today and my 5 month old was reclined back in her buggy, bottle in mouth propped up with a towel...alone.nobody watching her. What an extreme choking hazard. I am absolutely disgusted. The creche is heaving with kids, and minimal staff. Both times i went iv had to walk up to a staff member and tell them iv dropped off my baby as they wouldnt have noficed. iv witnessed many crying their little eyes out and nobody paying any attention to them. my first day there a toddler was outside the entance gate alone, i had to alert a staff member and her response was "oh is he not yours". We are never ever going back again. I just wanted to warn others

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the gym here for about a year and overall I am very pleased. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, particularly the ones who have got to know me. In the morning when I use the gym (around 8 to 9 am) it’s not too crowded and there’s a good variety of equipment. I have also been in the evenings occasionally again it’s not too crowded. The regular patrons are very friendly and there’s a nice casual feel in the gym. My young son loves going to the crèche and Linda, Sharon and the other crèche staff are excellent with the kids.

Fantastic experience: I visit the Gym three times a week, primarily to attend the Seniors Circuit I also do a about half an hour's weight training/workout prior to Seniors' Circuit which I find to be conducted by very professional trainers and attended by friendly people. I am 78 years old and since I commenced my attendance in Jan 2017,my physical and mental health has improved a lot and with judicious consumption of food I have been able to maintain a healthy weight and brought my Glucose Level to below 7. Yes I have Diabetes 2 and have a stent in my aorta besides having a few joint and other surgeries.The last time my doctor checked my Blood Pressure on 01/06/18, it was 120/60. With my improved health I ebike to the Gym the 9.5 kms. from Ballajura using minimal assist and my doctor is happy with what I do.

Positive experience: Altone park is a run by the shire of swan, the staff are firendly amd helpful...... currently the pool is being refurbished and is closed....but there are many groups and activites that are run and are held at the venue .The gym has been set up with the latest equipment.
