Positive experience: For anyone just wanting a shower this is why I am writing a review, it is $7.20 to use the shower and can I tell you the disappointment I had when I got in the shower and it was barely hot, just touching on warm which when you pay $7 you kind of want a hot shower.

Positive experience: If you are looking for a hot shower this is the place to go. For 7,20$ you get access to the pool and shower !

Fantastic experience: We were wanting a shower at the Aquatic centre however were a little hesitant as the last review a person explained you had to pay membership fee of $19 We went tonight for a swim and were never charged this fee, actually Alex at the reception was most courteous and helpful, the pool was terrific and showers are new and clean

Positive experience: Pour ceux qui comme moi, cherchent juste un endroit où se doucher, sachez qu’ils n’offrent plus cette possibilité, ils vous proposent un abonnement à 19 dollars pour l’accès à la salle de sport et aux douches ( un peu stupide si vous êtes backpackers ). Ce commentaire sert juste à avertir et à aider les prochains :) Cependant, vous pourriez vous faire de l’argent avec les douches que nous sommes prêt à payer, vous n’avez absolument rien à faire a part à encaisser notre argent, ce n’est pas si compliqué ! Et peut être que comme ça votre piscine pourra réouvrir !

Negative experience: Not open. Has been under construction for 3 years

Positive experience: Currently building new pool. Closed at the moment.

Negative experience: Everybody at the reception were good. 5 bocks for a shower in a box outside in front of everybody and not possible to dry yourself inside cause not enought place and all wet... For 2 or 3 bocks that can be ok but for 5 bocks each ?! That's not fair at all mate.

Positive experience: The town needs a Sauna !!!

Positive experience: Gym is great. But man it would be so good not to have to leg it up to Busso for a sauna. Fingers crossed some of the reno plans include a sauna or steam room. Even the if it’s was one of portable shipping container ones, they are cool

Negative experience: Our towns recreation center is dismal. For a vibrant town it’s very sad that it’s just the bare bones. This centre would benefit immensely from having a sauna. It would bring the community together while providing increased blood circulation, pain reduction, and improved immune function. Hoping we can see some changes in this space soon.

Negative experience: Staff are very pleasant - but to share my thoughts on the facilities… they are lackluster. A sauna or steam room would be a welcomed addition to this community hub and it sure would help my joint pain. Hoping management adds in the upgrade

Negative experience: Margaret River is a region that prides itself on a strong sense of community. So, it makes absolutely no sense that there’s no sauna facility at the recreation center. The health benefits are proven to help sleep and inflammation - just to name a few. It would be a gamechager for the elderly in this town. What a missed opportunity. I’m hoping someone in management reads this review and considers adding one with all the new upgrades happening.

Positive experience: The pool has an amazingly good temperature I must say that the roof is a bit rusty but I could lay in that water all day until the cows come home

Positive experience: Almost 5 star but as a regular user you do start to notice some key infrastructure missing, particularly for single parents of children. A spa and sauna would be long overdue and welcome additions to the facility. I imagine the next big spend will be fixing the roof though? Love it though, a warm pool on a cold winters day, can't beat it!

Negative experience: The pool facilities are not the worst in Australia, but for a town with an overflowing income of tourists, it could be in better shape. I can confirm a former review, where someone said, that it is full of kids having swimming lessons. Well, that person was there in the morning, we were in the afternoon - same experience. No warning when paying the entry that every little corner is occupied for swimming lessons. When we finally found a tiny spot, another swimming instructor with a group of kids arrived and approached us, that they need that spot for swimming lessons - WHAT THE HELL?! Never experienced such a booked out pool in Australia and we traveled through every state!

Negative experience: Really poor form !! Closed on Australia Day and also on the 27th!! Busiest weekend of the year and you can’t do a work out anywhere in town!!

Fantastic experience: Visited this centre a number of times while traveling the lap recently and we stayed in Margaret River for 3 weeks. 25m pool plus splash pool for the kids. The showers were fantastic.

Negative experience: I'm not really sure how to start. It ends pretty ugly though..... The receptionist was unwelcoming, he didn't even look up at us. We asked when public swim would be and he just looked confused and said when the pool was open. So we paid and went in only to find out that it was FULL of kids doing swimming lessons and all the lanes were out. It wasn't what we expected. We decided to go for it anyways and got in a corner away from the kids but we didn't last long before a new group of 15 kids arrived. We noticed the pool was in poor repair, chips were taken from the walls, the bleachers were bare wood on the sides, the nappy bin was overflowing, no fan in the change room so it was full of steam, and..... Reader beware.... There was a full size adult molar TOOTH on the floor of the public showers outside the change rooms. Disgusting and really disappointing for such a nice town. We arrived at 9am. Who cleans this place and when??
