Negative experience: Horrible experience... 1. Reecks of piss so bad you literrally have to squint whilst indoors (clorine has no smell unless mixed with urine) 2. Staff spends more time explaining why they cant do there job instead of doing there job. (Someone died in the hydrotherpy pool toilets and they didnt even notice - I was told this by a regular visitor). 3. The cafeteria food tastes like they stole the it from the dome cafe bins around the corner. (If your gona sell bin food atleast take it from kims bakery or the pinjarra diners bins it will taste alot better) I wont be comming back here.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful helpful friendly staff and fantastic facilities. Ready smiles from patrons. MALC is an excellent health and fitness resource for the region. With a creche to give mums time to relax and enjoy getting fit knowing that their little ones are in a kind caring environment.

Fantastic experience: As a recent visitor to Pinjarra and recovering from a hip replacement, my husband and I visited the MALC so I could exercise in the pool. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Luke who was the life guard on duty most days, he remembered us and got me organised with equipment for my workout. We really enjoyed the warm country hospitality we received and will be back.

Negative experience: There was a mid chlorine Alarm going off while trying to get a pump. About 45mins in to my pull work out. Some “person” came in and was fully pressed that there were ppl in the jim. U really think a bit of chlorine gas gonna hurt me

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff. As travelers driving trough Pinjarra, it was possible to just take a shower for 3$ pp. Very clean facilities. Thanks for that!

Fantastic experience: I use the Hydrotherapy pool for rehabilitation. Staff and patrons are very kind and friendly.

Fantastic experience: The centre's services has improved greatly since I first started access it 5 years ago. The staff there have always been friendly and helpful; it is its communication to the public about opening hours and upcoming events and activities that have made it into a community friendly place. It is especially a good aquatic centre for taking small and young children to, because water based toys and flotaties are generously supplied. The ice creams and hot potato chips served from the small cafe there have also made my grandchildren happy everytime.

Fantastic experience: i was waterboarded and tortured with a toothbrush by 4 of the employees upon entry to this run down establishment. One of their names was Josh Stringer. If I find any more needles in the pool I might leave a negative review, however I will let them off this time. The water is always below 0 degrees and it is brown like my grandmas trousers, but it smells nice.

Fantastic experience: Buenos dios, comrades I personally have attended this place of leisure and have interacted with many interesting people. I do, however, have a problem. There are too many children. You see on more than one occasion I have been playing in the whirlpool and been bombarded by children, it was one thanks to a lovely French man that I survived this grave encounter. In conclusion I would be delighted if the children were removed from the situation and I could play with other grown men to my hearts content.

Fantastic experience: Excellent swim school for young children. We have tried several others yet my children are progressing far better at this local centre.

Fantastic experience: Great for a quick dip or work out. Good Choice of classes from Aquatic, Yoga and Gym etc for all age groups. Hydro pool, basketball courts, toddlers and baby's pool and creche facilities. Cafe for coffee or bite to eat. Pay as you go, or memberships available, you choose what works for you.

Negative experience: Charged excessive card payment surcharge fee. (Which thankfully is being outlawed by the reserve bank of Australia reforms from September 2017) Despite calling in advance to check lane availability for swimming there was a group that were using all the public lanes. Friendly Lifeguard gave me the okay to use the vacant school booked lane for 15minutes until the school group arrived.
