Positive experience: Great range of classes. Big and easily accessible amenities.

Positive experience: Water slide was removed years ago. Ignore photos from Goole with the water slide in the background.

Negative experience: I went to see what the pool was like and the young girl behind the counter seemed that she didn't know what she was talking about. Showed little interest andasked questions on the gym she was at a loss. Not a good recommendation for the poolthe gym.

Positive experience: We have been going to this pool on and off for years now. The swim teachers are nice and seem to be a good team. It's very outdated as a facility. Though they have been upgrading some small things like replacing the 10 year old change tables etc it often feels very dirty even when it isn't. I definitely would not recommend taking anyone that might be unsteady on their feet as the tiles are extremely slippery and all members of our young family have slipped!

Negative experience: The staff are very friendly and helpful but the pool itself is run down and needs maintenance urgently. It's not overly friendly to people with mobility issues, the water is cold, and not very deep (1.2m in both pools... no deep or shallow end. Changing rooms are very good. Sizeable, clean and functional.

Negative experience: Need some proper cleaning and maintenance to be done overall. Water quality has not been great in the smaller pool. The staff have been alright though, so I guess it's more of a management issue?

Fantastic experience: Went in for my daily swim, and had a chat with a nice fellow named Kai, he reassured me that I would be under safe hands in the case of emergency and It allowed me to swim knowing I was under great watch. 10/10 will be going back again

Positive experience: Super friendly staff, easy to get in a lap swim, and the water felt great. My only quibble is the bathroom/shower area, they felt in need of a good scrub.

Positive experience: Pool is reasonably clean but quite shallow. Good for kids who don't jump or dive in. Staff are friendly and there is a lifeguard patrolling.

Negative experience: My son and I payed to swim but then were charged a spectator fee for the wife and oldest son to sit there and watch don't know if this is new seemed strange

Negative experience: Need to really have a look at their loyalty towards the staff . Great instructors getting hours cut , we need the good instructors . Instead of cutting the good instructors hours , you need to ask the ladies that do the work outs if they are happy with the instructors. Poor management.

Positive experience: Good classes for my 1 year old, easy system if you don’t attend your class you can make it up. Only thing is I wish the windows were tinted as the sun can be brutal during the class.

Fantastic experience: My first visit was today, my anxiety levels where pretty high but I found it pleasant. I will be back. I needed ramp access, which one of the pools has. I've come back to say that I believe that there should be a mention that the ramp access pool is not available at all times on the Web Site. It did cause me an issue when I arrived to use the pool and could not, so don't go earlier than 12:30 if you need ramp. This kind of disappointed me that I didn't know before hand. PLEASE, adjust this on your site, so it doesn't cause disappointment to those needing the ramp. I was not willing to wait 2 hours and went elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: The kids did the Sept holiday intensive program. Instructors were excellent and encouraging and kids made good progress with their swim technique and able to put it into practise after their lessons. Pool was good temperature and the surrounds and changing rooms were nice and clean.

Negative experience: My daughter had bad experience with the lady who manages the gym.

Positive experience: I wouldn't say the big pool is heated at all but the staff are friendly. Just watch around the pools as when it's wet it gets very slippery and as I go there for rehab is wasn't great when I nearly slipped over just walking out of the change rooms.

Negative experience: Rude staff at the gym, there is a lady who is in the gym most of the time. She doesn’t know how to talk. I was lifting weights on my shoulder and doing squats once, I couldn’t stand up while going up so I dropped the barbell off my shoulders so that I can stand up which made a thud sound she comes to me and says, do you even know what you’re doing? I said yes and she says there are other people as well keep that in mind. I said okay! I didn’t say anything but this is how it’s done. If you can’t stand up you drop the weights! Do you want me to hurt myself? Plus it’s a gym, everyone knows that except for her i guess. Glad my membership is over.

Negative experience: When entering into a 6 month membership end membership after 6 months unless it is paid to renew membership. I only agreed to a 6 month membership and found out 9 months latter you where still charging me. Now I am forced to cancel my membership and pay money I don't owe because I didn't attend the gym for those 3 after my gym membership agreement had ended. No one told me when I joined this would happen they told me I was on a 6 month membership. So I don't think I should have to pay for those 3 months after my 6 month contract had ended if I did not use the facility because I thought I was on a 6 month membership and when I signed up they said I had to renew after those 6 months. I didn't receive any support about this when I went to the facility they said I needed to pay for those 3 months other wise i couldn't use the facility. I'm not paying $100 to use the facilitys.

Fantastic experience: Logan's Heroes has new owners... City Venue Management has purchased the business as of 18/07/2014. As part of the purchase of Logan's Hero's, City Venue Management will be undertaking a significant renovation of the venue that will include a full roof removal and replacement. The renovations will ensure that you, the member, will have a new and dynamic environment to achieve your health and fitness goals. During this improvement process, some areas of the Logan's Hero's venue will be temporarily closed for a period of time in order to safely carry out these major works. The closure will affect the following areas: 1. Health Club, Group Fitness and Child Minding - Closed from 28 July with a Grand Opening on 22 August. 2. 25 Meter and Learn-to-Swim Pools - Closed from 28 July and Grand Opening no later than 15 October.

Fantastic experience: Great News: When I first went I bought a 10 session card to go swimming to practice not realising that it was such a unhygienic place I was terrified I never went back again that says it all. So glad to read that it has been taken over and to be refurbished yah looking forward to the opening as I travel to Slacks creek for water aerobic and swimming let us all know when the opening is I am sure there will be a lot of people that will use when they realise there is new owners and they will make it what it should be for people to go to there local swimming pool.

Positive experience: Pretty good pool, bathroom could be cleaner older staff generally stairs at u if ur little kids are having fun and a bit noisy..

Positive experience: I have been coming to this swimming pool for 20 years..i have seen a lot of changes, staff come and go.. Still friendly staff.. I just use the pools for physio now.. Ring and find out what classes there are before turning up..the is Aquarobics and a babies learn to swim here.. Please note.. the water slides have since been taken out of here.. The photos should be taken off as i told my friend week has an autistic child that there were slides.. when we got there.. we had a very unhappy child.. and my friend and i paid by only got a sml amount of time in the pool. Yes..pools are nice and clean.. it's indoors as well.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff and environment. Safety is paramount and taken very seriously. Bathrooms are tidy, equipment very clean and organised and that’s what I like most. I enjoy every moment of my gym and swimming sessions. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: I love coming here. The new improvements to the gym equipment are great and the classes are always amazing. The friendly staff and on point life guards make you feel welcome and safe in the pool. The fact that I can do a work out and then swim laps (or just cool off after) is so convenient. And their covid safe plan means I’m always safe when I’m there. It’s not expensive either.

Negative experience: Well I thought I would give this place another go ....havnt been for a couple of years because the water was always cold and guess wh a t the water still cold ....they didn't seen to care when I mention it when leaving today ....looks like another couple if years before I go back if I ever go back ....waste of money .....

Positive experience: Fair price for entry, but really just a main pool for laps and a smaller heated pool that was very overcrowded. No extras for the kids like slides etc. Really just for exercising more than pleasure.

Negative experience: Unfortunately my experience with one staff member in particular was extremely upsetting for me. Her rudeness and condescending attitude has prompted myself and my family never to use the facilities again

Negative experience: Firstly when I signed up for the gym the lady behind the counter said it wasn't a lock in contract and that I could leave at any time she repreated this over and over again and I agreed. Secondly months after I called up seeing if I could cancel my membership I got told to bugger off over the phone. And that I wouldn't be getting it canceled. A few weeks later I called up again and got the number of the manager who I tired to call a few times and he never go back to me I got promised by staff they would cancely contract. I went in to the pool and spoke to someone and gave them all the details to "cancel" the contact I'm still getting charged to this day

Negative experience: Today my son had his first swim trial. While in his lesson the instructor got distracted by another parent who started talking to him, he then took his eye off my child who slipped off the step and was left trying his hardest to tread water. I watched him for a second thinking the instructor would turn around, I then had to get up and run over to alert the instructor, I was just about ready to jump in myself. So lucky I was watching otherwise who knows how much longer it would have taken to notice. The instructor was apologetic after I confronted him about what just happened. However when I told management I wouldn't be booking again, all he could do was make excuses, didn't even apologise once!! I'm absolutely furious with the way the manager dealt with this he kept making excuses like oh its easy to get distracted and that's not their fault, I understand that they can't control who talks to them but atleast hold the child or have them in eye sight while you talk, don't turn your back to them. I just can't believe the manager had the audacity to tell me its easy to get distracted when a child who cannot swim, life is in their hands!! I feel this was quite a serious incident which was not handled in an appropriate way! My sister gifted my son a $100 voucher for swimming lessons which I'm now stuck with because there is no way I am sending my child back there and I highly recommend no one else does either!

Positive experience: Most of time it’s not too busy. I go there to do lap swim and quite happy to be able to have my own lane. When they have swim lessons for kids, it’s not possible to have own lane but rather than that it’s pretty good. Staff are not always friendly but helpful when you need them. Reasonably clean bathroom and change room. Can’t complain.

Positive experience: Staff are lovely and helpful, facilities are Lovely and clean, but if you have come here because staff have said it has disable access, don’t - it should say “wheelchair access”. There is a great big two story switch-back ramp, and no lift. Not ideal if you are a walking or partially walking disabled person. Nearly killed my hubby who has partial paralysis down his left side, who desperately needed to use the disabled toilet - on the bottom floor - at the very rear of the room from the ramp. They don’t tell you that when you ring.
