Fantastic experience: We regularly attend Bellbowrie swimming pool for recreation and children's swimming lessons. The facilities are always well maintained, and the little water playground is a crowd favourite. Especially the bucket tip. Having the 25M pool heated makes swims possible even on cooler days, however as it's also the main pool used for lessons it can quickly become crowded. A solar heating system for the 50M pool would be a massive upgrade to usability. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Kiosk on site is wonderful to have, although the selection of food could be improved beyond ice creams and candy. As a result there is rarely anyone at the kiosk buying anything. It's a similar story for the small on site gym which is deserted 99.9% of the time. The equipment selection is quite limited, whilst the price is unreasonably high at $19.95pw making it expensive even when compared with full commercial gyms. Price is likewise an issue for entry, at $6.45 for an adult, and $4.75 for a child, a family can easily cost $20-$30 in entry. This is solved somewhat with $2 summers, but would like to see a 22% decrease in prices year round to $5pp Demand is definitely there with the pool becoming very crowded during $2 summers. This suggests an value/access issue on current pricing. As a privately managed council asset, any profits should be made through volume sales ensuring price access by all residents.

Fantastic experience: Today is my first gym experience at Bellbowrie pools. Been stressed and was looking for an outlet. When I walked into the gym today I was greeted by the lovely Hannah and she was so lovely. She introduced me to Liam and that was it. I had the best time and now I'm ready to sign up and crush the gym. Thanks again Hannah and Liam.

Suitable and more fun activities for kids and all . have dedicated times for lessons and aqua aerobics. ❤️ friendly staff and professional lifeguards. You can enjoy a mini cozy bar for a refreshing & meal.

Fantastic experience: A great spot for an afternoon swim. It got a little busy after school finished, but it was clean, well shaded and enough room for everyone

Negative experience: Nice pool - awful staff. The ego enraged adolescent female lifeguards will make your visit hell! Both were incredibly rude and arrogant, and constantly yelled at everyone for every little thing. Management, train your staff - there is no need for their behaviour.

Fantastic experience: Nice family friendly atmosphere, 25 m pool is heated, small kids pool and 50 m are not, is early in the season so they will get warmer, nice way to start a Sunday morning.

Fantastic experience: Great for 50m lap swimming, can get very busy in the evenings, especially if lessons are underway. Staff are always very friendly and happy to help.

Fantastic experience: Great pool. But it's not fair that we have to use it around the MSS kids swim classes. So in that respect, it's not really public

Negative experience: The pool itself is nice, it has nice facilities. But I was there yesterday and the lifeguards were very excessive over the rules. Barking at the kids over everything. You’re not allowed to jump or dive in any pool, at any time. Even the deep end. No balls. No running or skipping. Saw some poor father forced in the kiddie pool with his school aged kid, because watching from the sidelines was not enough for the lifeguard. Completely took the fun out of the afternoon. We will not be back.

Negative experience: Nice enough pool but sadly there was an over zealous English life guard that ruined things. He was marching around like the fun police trying to thwart any happiness before it occurred. Came over aggressively to order me not to let my 8 year old jump in the (empty) pool. Reminded me so much of my time as a kid in the UK when the lifeguards would kick you out for the slightest infringement…hope the guy can learn to adapt to Aussie ways when it comes to having fun in the water. We won’t be going back.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing complex! Two pools one 50m and a 25m undercover and heated! Plenty of activities to enjoy as well. There is even a Water play area with a tipping bowl for the kids to enjoy.

Positive experience: Nice quiet place for locals. Has a large pools with lanes separated, a medium heated pool for young ones to learn swimming, two shallow pools for toddlers and a water play feature with a toppling pail. Toilets are a little dark and old but still alright.

Fantastic experience: Great little gym with very friendly staff. You would do well to exercise at this place! They also have a nice heated 25m pool and a full size 50m pool....

Fantastic experience: Great public aquatic facility. Recently refurbished. The main pool is ideal for laps which is 50m and saltwater chlorinated. There is also a learners pool and kids aquatic play area with a "Spill Bucket" The staff are friendly which adds to the overall fun and rewarding aquatic experience.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoy taking my baby girl to Bellbowrie Pool, it is clean and so many separate pools which is good for the little ones, the baby pool is shaded and heated too. The swimming instructor on Thursday afternoons at 3pm is amazing we love how she interacts with the babies, is actually teaching them something even tho they are still little and you can tell she loves being an instructor. Definitely recommend.
