Fantastic experience: Very clean and spacious pools with plenty of areas for children to play, including an outdoor water play area. The pool are heated and very warm in winter, which is a big plus. The staff are very friendly, and the lifeguards are attentive. There are also snacks, ice cream, and hot food available right next to the pool, making it very convenient when kids get hungry after playing. Our children always love coming here to swim and have fun.

Negative experience: Genuinely the worst leisure centre in Victoria. When I seim with my mates who are 16 thr manager says we have to have an adult with us but what is the point of lifeguards then? Also their manager is super trash she kicks my brother who is 13 out of the sauna and letting you know that all other leisure centres and places let him in and they screamed at him during that process which hurt his feelings. Don’t come here if you want to swim

Negative experience: Staff are friendly. Fees are expensive considering change rooms, toilets and showers are filthy. Showers are cold most of the time and lockers are broken with missing doors. I don’t have a problem paying my fees but I expect the basics mentioned above to be in place. I am not after a reply or apology from whoever is in charge. I and other members just want these issues resolved.

Positive experience: Very overcrowded on hot days. $6.95 entry, doesn't include spa or sauna. $2.95 for locker hire.

Negative experience: I came here for few days honestly stay away there clients that use that facility are horrible old bully my son which was coming here few days literally had picture of him posted on like because u allow people to use there fine in hot tub etc phone should be banned to be used on pool floor! His being bullied online due to this! Will never come here again worst place in melbourne!

Negative experience: I enrolled my son in swimming classes at this centre and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with the administration. The staff were not supportive or helpful, and communication was poor throughout the process. On top of that, I was charged extra fees that were not clearly explained.

Negative experience: Worst gym I’ve ever been to , not many equipments, ( you have to line up most of the times for the machine ), too small, dark and too expensive,( compare to other gyms in the area) it’s not 24/7 gym so if you finish work late you have to run sometimes or leave the gym early! the locker room is a mess it’s been like that for so long and they keep saying they will fix it but it never happened!

Positive experience: I first came here to play basketball when I was 12 and 13 years old, I stopped doing that since COVID. I came back in 2024 to go to the gym, and I’ve been doing that now ever since! Best recreation centre in Melbourne in my opinion.

Negative experience: The gym is great, lots of equipment and very spacious, but I would recommend a different gym if your planning on having a shower when you vist, as often there is no hot water and about half the lockers are missing doors.

Positive experience: Great place - the basketball court needs updating tho.

Positive experience: Facilities are good, water was just the right temperature, plenty of staff to help if needed. Lots of swimming classes being taken for all ages. Plenty of parking.

Fantastic experience: I used 2 live down the road from here, it's the cheapest aquatic center/gym I've seen in Melbourne and that's y I'ma member there!!!!

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this swim school for parents seeking structured, skill-based swimming lessons. While the facility is spacious, well equipped, and full of potential, the instructors seem to lack both focus and care. Children are mostly left to do as they please, with minimal guidance or attention to proper swimming techniques and foundational skills. I had hoped things would improve under the new management, but after several sessions, I’ve seen little to no progress in my daughter’s development.

Fantastic experience: Lovely swimming centre with really friendly staff at the front desk. Water’s nice and warm, which makes a big difference. Great family change rooms — clean and well-kept, much better than many other pools I’ve been to. Plenty of parking and it’s peaceful during weekday lunches. Gets busy in school holidays, and lots of seniors use it for therapy and rehab. Can only recommend!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place. They offer a variety of programs, catering to a variety of needs. There's a swimming pool, gym and a library all in one. They work very closely with the council of Whittlesea to bring leisure and welfare benefits to the wider community. My favourite aspect of TRAC is that they are very inclusive. They hold forums every now and then to get suggestions and ideas from different organisations in the community to move TRAC forward, for the benefit of the wider community. I live in Greenvale, but I enjoy going to TRAC for these very reasons.

Positive experience: Great place in the gym it's awesome. But in the pool area, friendly staff but too friendly. There are signs all over about people showering first before they go in the pool and saunas but hardly anyone are following the rules. And the staff are too friendly to say anything to any of them. They go into the pools and saunas without showering daily, but that's the only negative about this place.

Negative experience: I have tried using the contact through the online website and provided information on multiple occasions with no response so here is my feedback. Very disappointed that I requested swimming lessons program cancellation 3 weeks ago over the phone and through online portal cancellation form and I still had them deduct money and fail to cancel the membership I have been coming for quite few months so l had no minimum, if l knew they were going to continue deducting money after cancelling, I wouldn't have joined as when I joined they reassured the contract is only permanent for 3 weeks this is all a lie. Swimming instructors are great but bathrooms need major improvement very unhygienic place to take babies/toddlers/adults to change.

Negative experience: Unwilling to listen to or respond to participant feedback regarding the group fitness timetable. Have called and emailed several times requesting to discuss the changes with centre management and have not received any acknowledgment let alone correspondence addressing my concerns. Ethos of group fitness is supposed to be about community participation. Incredibly disappointed.

Positive experience: I LOVE HOW KIDS ENJOY THE WATER FUN. ITS GOOD FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES.OLD GUYS CAN WALK IN WATER, TAKE STEAM AND SWIM

Positive experience: It was ok. Not much casual space for weekend use because lanes were made up for lap uses and swimming lessons too. This made it a bit squishy in the little space left for anyone else. No slides or anything for the older kids, just the kiddie pool that was a bit crammed up. Canteen closed a couple of hours early for some reason. Heaps of parking space though. That was a plus.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member at trac for over 10 years and I've come across Paola she is a Personal Trainer in the centre, I pinched a nerve in my back and was in terrible pain. I asked for advice on how to recover without doing more damage. She was so kind so spend 30 minutes with me and run me through some stretches and light training on how to open up my muscles and tension I went home that night and had a full 8 hours rest. I can't thank her enough on her knowledge and kindness she great and thanks again Paola.

Positive experience: Family rooms and showers were really dirty not enough family rooms and 3 of them didn’t work. The whole place needs maintenance.

Negative experience: During this month, most of the 9.10am aqua classes in the 25 metre pool have had well over 30 (sometimes reaching 40) participants. Consequently there is not enough equipment provided in order to complete the exercises, particularly the dumbbells. Myself and other members have complained about this for (at least) the past six months but management continue to provide equipment to those in the hydro pool, although they are not part of the 9.10am aqua class. Equipment should only be provided to the participants of the 9.10am session, and then given out AFTER the completion of that class.

Positive experience: I take my son here for lessons and the teachers are fantastic. The pools are clean and the water is very warm for kids and therapy pools. Makes the place stuffy and hot in summer though. The staff are generally speaking.

Negative experience: Attended TRAC recently to complete some lap swimming. Limited lanes open due to swimming lessons which was fine. But a male and several of his children were standing in the middle of the lap lanes mucking around. I made what I thought was a reasonable request for them to move over to the recreational area and the male immediately became aggressive and got in my face. Management had to tell him to calm down. I understand when it’s not busy people can use the lap lanes for having fun but during busy times when people come to do laps it would be appreciated if management keep the lap lanes for lap swimming.

Positive experience: I take my daughter to swimming lessons here and I have seen a massive improvement since last year in both her progress and attitude, as well as the centre's classes. Last year we were not so happy with the state of the swimming lessons as every week my daughter would have a different teacher, and it made it hard to get her into the pool. She was already anxious about swimming and the inconsistency made it worse. However, after a friend recommended moving into a class with the teacher Kiara. We have been blown away with the quality of her classes. She is consistently there and always happy to talk to me about my daughter's progress. She helped my daughter to float independently and now she is excited to go to swimming and see her favourite teacher. Overall, Trac has been an exceptional place to come and enjoy the hot weather. The pools are great and the life guards are actively watching and ready to help, the staff at the front desk were welcoming and always help me with any queries I have. Also highly recommended Kiara as one of the best swim teachers at TRAC

Negative experience: Please fix the showers. Almost half of the spa jets broken, 3/4 main pool showers out of order and several male bathroom showers broken. Going on 12 weeks + plus. Please fix

Fantastic experience: Quite and clean place for hangout with family and friends. You will have place for sitting and walking. Car parking is also available.

Fantastic experience: One of the best places to feel good and relaxed, to free my mind, work hard on my health and to have fun. I have to say I love this centre, I've had a pleasant experience, I met some of the employees, Anna and Vicky. They are absolutely lovely and professional, they answered all my questions through a phone call and since I stepped into the place they were very kind and welcoming, Anna guided me through the process for my gold membership and explained everything in detail, Vicky gave me a cool and extensive tour through the facilities and told me all the classes they provide, I'm so excited!!!. Today was my first day and it was just amazing! Even though I know how to swim the guards were very attentive an checked in to see if I was fine. Thank you all so much for being very attentive. There are excellent facilities and classes available that I'm excited to join.

Positive experience: Crowded place in Saturday and Sunday otherwise it's a good place to bring up your kids.

Negative experience: I tried ring them 5 times just before and interestingly the call is getting cut off. Now the time is 9.20 AM. Hope nothing fishy is going on there

Positive experience: Good idea to call ahead if you're taking your little kids so that you know you will have somewhere to splash. No mention that a whole 1.2m pool would be taken up by swim lessons when paying for entry. Disappointing because it's usually such a great facility when you can access what you're paying for. The water play area is good but not that useful for kids who want to swim a bit.

Negative experience: Pretty average because some staff are experienced, some doesn’t care. Some teaching lessons are good, others don’t care. Taps and showers are broken, staff don’t even bother to place a sign for a week, you gotta hope that next space will be working, apparently council doesn’t care either. Wants customers to call council to fix their plumbing.

Fantastic experience: Very impressed with the whole set up of all the different types of pools to cater for so many different lifestyles..eg..Spa..disability..children's area for the very young and another for the young school age and then there are the lanes for normal swimming..Lots of seating..lifesavers present everywhere..Lots of parking area and dressing rooms..Nowhere better..Tidy everywhere and very roomy. Couldn't fault anything..Swimming teachers very much alert and careful watching with crowds of children...

Positive experience: Good facilities, pool was clean. Only drawback is that some patrons can be quite disruptive like playing volleyball in pool and nothing done about it by staff.

Negative experience: be very careful putting your children in their swimming programs, The kept taking money out of account and when confronted they said oh yiu and yiur family can come use our facilities.. Then when we decided to cancel they said we need to keep paying for 30 days Apparently giving permission to take money out of your account is some sort of contract...

Positive experience: The centre showers are often filthy . Most of the pool staff are friendly but there is a huge lack of customer service. Staff need training. Other pool centres are way more customer focused.

Negative experience: Never Parking at the front so might as well always park at the back. Showers 10 seconds on then turns off, in the men's showers, bad customer service, we will never return, a regular member puts water on the heat sensor in the steam room, all of us members complain, but was told he is a regular, he gets away with everything, even when there are signs everywhere, we constantly reporting him, but staff never or listen to us.

Negative experience: Went there with my son and the lady on reception just put on all her efforts and energy to make sure that my son can’t go in due to his age although his classmates where already in even when her manager said yes she went to their manager to make sure my son can’t go in so she enjoyed it and was very happy after she won and what she said is what happened

Positive experience: Pretty full with people - but granted excessively hot day and it's the start of school holidays, don't really expect many people weren't going to head towards water. But the great thing was that continuing out through the back doors was a outdoor section which for me was the best part( and if the screams of joy were any type of clue I think the kids loved it too) Great amount of shaded sections both on the grass and with table and chairs, nice - well kept BBQ for public use and a very nicely sized water play fountain in kind of the centre - big enough for the kids, mum and grandma to cool off.

Negative experience: I tried this pool today for the first time. Moving from Fawkner due to its shutdown. Reception asked for my contact details so that someone would call me later to get feedback, which I thought was great. Facility was good although there was a couple of items I wanted to mention including a broken shower head. A man called me an hour later during my business hours and asked for feedback. I started to provide a few items of objective feedback. 30 secs in the call, the guy says something to the effect of: call us back to give feedback, thank you. And he hanged up. That rudeness put me off joining particularly that I did not ask for the call and I was nice enough (perhaps naive) to provide my contact mobile and email!! Will look elsewhere!

Fantastic experience: At this place there is: - a gym - showers - a spa - a sauna - pools - warm pool - cold pool (deeper) - Change rooms the gym is ok but its kinda intimidating when you see all of the tatooed men with huge muscles. The showers are good. there are outside ones and ones in the change rooms. if you want to wash the swimming pool chlorine off. The spa is somewhere that i would not go. There's always about a billion old men in it and its disgusting. I have never been in the sauna but it looks pretty good. The pools are amazing. there is the very shallow kids' pool, the warm pool (about a metre high i would say(not sure)) is good for toddlers and young children to learn to swim in. The deep pool (the biggest pool there is (also coldest)) can get very crowded in the area that anyone can go in. There are lap lanes for people who are slow, medium and fast in their swimming, and then there are the lanes used for the lessons. There is a student change room if school students (being sent by the school) are using the pools. There is a mens and womens change room. they both have showers in them. They have toilets and (the men's change room) has urinals. There are the family change rooms which are separate to the other ones so that a family can get changed in the same room. This makes it easier if you have young children. They also have nappy changing things. Finally, there are the disabled change rooms. like the family ones, have baby nappy change things. They are good for people in wheelchairs to use.

Positive experience: Ok leisure centre, friendly staff. Facilities a bit dated. Warm water pool too small for number of patrons. Prices should lower.$8.20 for concession swim with locker hire is not competitive.

Fantastic experience: The creche/occasional care at TRAC is amazing. The staff have provided over 6 years of care to my children. My children have always felt safe, nurtured, engaged and a great sense of belonging at this centre. It’s been a second home to them. The staff are amazing and do an excellent job engaging with my children and providing them the highest quality of care. Can’t thank you enough. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Positive experience: TRAC swimming and recreation pool area is currently undergoing maintenance inside the disabled access rooms. Benches have been replaced with sturdy alternatives. Lovely pools, flat floor, wheelchair friendly access into the building and into the water, with a hoist lift to assist with moving immobile patients into the hydrotherapy pool. Loved seeing the accessible change rooms getting some much needed attention. We are at this pool weekly for nearly 2 hours, and we may see anywhere between 5 and 10 visitors with a wheelchair during our time. If you are looking for a place for accessible hydrotherapy, with large change rooms and trolleys to assist with dressing and undressing, consider this place.

Negative experience: I wish i could give them Negative rating, 90% of there staff is racist. Me and my friends went to play volleyball and they didn’t told us that court is booked, when we all payed for our casual entries which was around $90 for all then they are telling us that you can’t play court is booked, then we went to gym and lady incharge there was so rude and racist. It’s a good place to go, but staff is pretty much low grade.

Fantastic experience: Stoked with the results I've been able to achieve at the gym with the support of PT David in such a short period of time. He has given very clear guidance within gym routines, been caring, patient, outcome driven but also very reasonable upon expectations. This separates previous experiences from privatised gyms and makes this a special community gym.

Positive experience: Very busy place on a hot day! Facilities need a clean as I noticed mould on the roof in the steam room and a build up of a white substance on the children's equipment, but it was still well maintained. Clean changing rooms and toilets. The prices were good too. All in all, a good visit!
