Anytime Fitness

Negative experience: Double charged me when I ended my membership and had to chase them up for weeks and provide transaction summaries and proof of my transactions 4 times and I still haven’t received my refund. Used to like this gym but this has been such a bad experience upon ending my membership. For such a major gym why are you not giving me a refund when you know I have been double charged and I have spoken to the manager on the phone who even said yes this looks like a double charge and then never heard from them again and I had to continually chase them up for the refund I have still not gotten. Such poor customer service.

Positive experience: good place, spacious, cool and clean other wise sometimes you will find some narcissistic man who using equipment, left their towel to mark down the place, and he will gone for 5 minute admiring his body in the mirror. the other bloke will using 2 machine which separated almost 20m apart at the same time. welp what to say

Fantastic experience: Huge gym and super friendly staff!

Positive experience: Generally clean, and the equipment well maintained. Little bit pricey and the vending machine drinks are overpriced. Other than that a decent gym.

Negative experience: The gym is okay definitely not worth $35.00 a week. The fans aren't working, so you are working out with no air-conditioning just melting away. Wipes always running out and having to walk to the other side of the room. Needs improvement forsure.

Negative experience: Very big and spacious gym with all standard equipment. However can be dirty and messy at times, lots of broken machines, and faulty lights. 20kg weights stored above head, very unsafe

Fantastic experience: The manager of the centre was very friendly and accommodating for my circumstances. I was working there and in the last week they waived some of the fees. I will use them in the future in Townsville and Bundy and potentially Brisbane when I return

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym! Space is great, light, airy, and the equipment is top notch. Showers/ change rooms always clean and well set up. Staff are amazing! And weekly cost is very good value. My favourite gym!

Fantastic experience: One of my favourite spaces in Mparntwe, Alice Springs; Fantastic, strong community of inclusive, diverse, friendly, welcoming people working on their fitness. The owners are welcoming, warm and open to helping in any way they can. The space is huge with lots of space, equipment and natural light and all the facilities one needs. If you’re after a community of like-people who are generously supportive, encouraging, and up for connection I’d recommend this gym. Great gym, fantastic culture and community; a strong, fun, engaging and active space to work on fitness strength and goals. Definitely recommend this gym space and community! Fantastic experience: Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and organized gym. Only minor grumbles are a lack of shade in the mornings when on the treadmill (bring ) and the absence of a trap bar. Otherwise top marks, spacious, and it has a good helpful atmosphere too.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic and and hands down the best AF I have been to. Super clean, great equipment, tons of squat racks, free weights & so much space to handstand. They offered a 7 day trial even though they knew I was visiting. Currently offer one week passes for $50, so great for travellers. Will be back for sure !

Fantastic experience: This is the perfect gymplace for me in Alice! Gets busier at times, but in general, I am very happy. Gym's size is moderate, but is adequately equipped. I really appreciate the cleanliness and maintenance, and of course the supportive staff.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, good price, well worth it. I'm visiting for a bit and got a week to week contract, it's a great spot to workout with plenty of squat racks, benches, free weights, machines, and cardio stuff. Gym's kept nice and clean, well-organised, busy at the usual times but never too busy for me to get a workout. A big highlight was how easy it was to organise cancelling when I left - they need a month's notice, but you can still go to the gym during the month's notice period, so I just rang up a month before, signed the form, and now can go until I leave in a bit. Too easy, nothing like some of the crazy stories in the news about gyms making it super hard to cancel. Thanks to the team for a great gym :)

Negative experience: Gym itself is great, 4 toilets and large area for workout. No aircon though so incredibly sweaty to workout in - especially in Alice Springs!

Negative experience: Absolutely ridiculous. Blocked my card from being able to access gym with no communication. Continued accruing fees with no explanation as to how even though I couldn't access the gym. Tried calling multiple times to get answers with no phone call returned from club manager Daniel. Will be cancelling my membership as soon as I can.

Fantastic experience: Anytime Alice Springs is a great gym with an extremely supportive community, I’m happy that I know I can walk into the gym and meet with new people and learn more about my workouts. The staff here are great too, always friendly and ready to say hello when you walk in the doors ready to start your workout. Definitely my favourite gym here in town. Can’t wait for their new upgrades.

Negative experience: Because I became a member 4 days before THE promotion, I did not get THE promotion bag. Have been a member of Lasseters and Get Physical and Anytime Fitness 2015 and got a gift bag. Really sucks - the principle of it really....the bags are worth stuff all really.

Fantastic experience: Anytime is the best gym in Alice. Management are very friendly and helpful, and keep the place clean and tidy. The gym has good quality equipment, and will be upsizing to a larger site (out of the centre of town) soon.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant facilities, great culture amongst other members and friendly, helpful staff. So helpful in fact, that if you're an Adelaide Crows supporter you just might get a few sneaky guernseys from a former player.

Negative experience: They are still taking payments out & I left the gym 6 months ago. I Asked the manager to fix it multiple times, but she is useless.

Fantastic experience: Great place to workout whilst stopping over in Alice Springs. Friendly patrons and whole range of equipment available, clean and sufficient lightning.

Positive experience: I have been going to this gym ever since it opened here in Alice Springs. They gave me a great price right at the beginning & it was a super easy process. I’ve met several of their managers over the years and they’ve all be super helpful, prompt & lovely to me. The gym itself is on the smaller size with basic, older model traditional gym equipment by Life Fitness (about one of every kind of equipment, except for the squat rack - there’s two squat racks). My only downside to the strength areas is that there are no bumper plates.

In terms of cardio machines there’s treadmills, ellipticals, bikes (upright, recumbent + Keiser indoor) & a rower machine. Since Covid some of the cardio machines have “closed” which is a bit limiting, but hopefully in the future we get to see them open back up again or even get a wider variety of machines like a stair climber, ski erg, assault bike, sprint machine, foam ply box, etc. Overall, a great gym! :)

Fantastic experience: Recently spent 3 weeks in Alice Springs. Went to AF gym for 2 weeks on a casual membership. All staff were very friendly, especially Shane, who after going to gyms in SA and NT for the last 3 years, he is the first employee/ trainer that has stopped and offered advice and helped me to use the equipment properly. Great service.

Negative experience: Filthy, broken equipment takes forever to get repaired. No new machines. Signs on the walls dated 4 months ago.. no care no customer service

Negative experience: Extremely pushy to get you to sign up to the gym. Having worked/run a gym as a PT and health and lifestyle coordinator I feel the staff lack training and only care about getting your money. Purely wanted to go in to look at the gym to see what they had. Had to explain fitness goals in front of other people which is inconsiderate. Staff should know better Standard equipment. No issues there. Seemed clean. When explaining that we wanted to think about joining up staff were very pushy to get a sign up. Making it awkward and uncomfortable. Spent 10 minutes there.

Fantastic experience: You kinda know what to expect from a stock standard "globo-gym". There's some weights & machines. This one provides all the things you'd expect as well as good personal customer service and it's always clean and tidy.

Positive experience: Nice typical ATF, needs a new playlist tho omfg were is the hype???!?!

Negative experience: This would have to be Australia's dirtiest gym. Needs a GOOD and PROPER clean up. Disinfect. This gym is unhygienic to say the least.
