Fantastic experience: Excellent club for both men and women I recently visited MBMA with a female friend of mine and we had a blast. The girls only class was well attended and well run by a female black belt and the following Open Mat was busy with everyone showing a great welcoming attitude. Thoroughly recommend

Fantastic experience: Macleay Valley Martial Arts is a great gym with a friendly & welcoming atmosphere. Glenn & Alana are professional coaches with decades of knowledge & experience between them, in both competition & real world self-defence. Glenn, Alana, & the assistant coaches, all genuinely care about the positive progress, safety & well-being of every student, & are always patient & encouraging. My two teenage sons love their Brazilian Jujitsu classes at MVMA. Over the past three years I've watched them rapidly increase in fitness, physical strength, & also in their motivation to achieve personal goals both inside & outside the gym. MVMA also have fun events throughout the year for the kids such as "Nerf & Pizza night", & special training seminars with guest coaches from other gyms. I would absolutely recommend MVMA for Brazilian Jujitsu, Kickboxing, fun & fitness.

Fantastic experience: My daughter absolutely loves doing the kids bjj and looks forward to it every week. The coaches are amazing with the kids especially Alana, she’s fantastic at teaching. I also attend the kickboxing classes and enjoy it, there is always something new to learn, Glenn is very knowledgeable and good at what he does and most importantly everyone is very welcoming at the gym. ☺️

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Alana and the coaches for making the kids feel welcome at jujitsu. My kids don’t usually like organised classes, but they really enjoyed learning new fitness skills without feeling pressured or discouraged, and the class is a great workout. The teacher, Alana, had a lovely teaching style that is fun and encouraging. I like that the kids start with a warm up, learn some new moves, and finish by respecting each other with a handshake. I was quite amazed to see the kids get stuck into the wrestling moves on their first lesson. The whole experience was very positive and they are excited to learn more. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: My son has just started the kids jujitsu program. He loves it so much and wishes he could go everyday. The coaches are very knowledgeable and are very nurturing . Its really affordable and the kids classes are at a great time too! Highly recomend !

Fantastic experience: Both my son and I attend the gym. My son does the kids bjj classes and has always has such a great experience. I have also recently joined in to the kickboxing classes and the bjj classes. All of the coaches are incredible, kind and inclusive of all members. It’s been a great experience gaining fitness, learning technique and also new friendships.

Everything you need from a martial arts gym. Whether you’re considering jumping in for the first time or if you’re experienced, this is the place for you.
