Fantastic experience: My two sons love a climb here. Staff are always super helpful. It’s great having another indoor activity to explore when needed.

Positive experience: Reasonable pricing. Very good place for active kids to let off steam

Negative experience: I could and have bought a running and registered car for the price of a year membership here, if your prices weren’t also $200 for just 10 visits in a couple month period I would have loved to convince myself to get Atleast that but it’s just not viable, I’ll go climb the cliffs and risk it all instead cous Atleast I can afford that <3 no hate on the business just the system of making everything fun expensive

Negative experience: I love this sport so much, and the Dynomite community has been so supportive and fun to engage with. However, it's becoming very difficult to financially justify the membership prices as a young student. It makes me incredibly sad that the sport I love most is becoming more and more inaccessible every year. I understand the new gym has only just been put in, but those who live far away from Albion cannot choose to opt-out of the membership price increase that came with the addition of a new gym they can't access without a long drive.

Negative experience: I love bouldering and I appreciate Dynomite so much but the insane price increases for members lately have been really disappointing for myself and many fellow climbers. I would understand if the facilities at North Gong Dynomite were improved but they have not and it is disheartening. I’d be keen to give advice on how to help!

Negative experience: Dynomite has been great, but prices are just to high now. So difficult to be a casual (but reoccuring) customer when membership prices exceed anything reasonable. The majority of the demographic that climbs at dynomite are uni students, becoming so expensive has greatly decreased the accessibility of this facility to most uni students.

Negative experience: Membership price has increased nearly twofold in the last year and the gym has not improved in any meaningful way.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Dynomite Climbing Gym in North Wollongong and had an incredible experience! The facility is top-notch, offering a wide variety of climbing routes suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced climbers. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to offer tips and support. The atmosphere is welcoming and inclusive, making it a great place to climb with friends or meet new people. The gym is well-maintained, clean, and equipped with excellent safety measures. I highly recommend Dynomite Climbing Gym to anyone looking for a fantastic climbing adventure in North Wollongong!

Positive experience: Fun bouldering only gym. It is fairly small compared to other bouldering gyms i’ve been to but it’s still just as fun. Everyone there is friendly. They have a coffee machine if you need some energy and offer a 3 entry pass for newbies

Fantastic experience: I love this place because it's the first place I ever climbed so it feels like home. But, I don't recommend you using your dine and discover voucher here though. Save it for another place, like HangDog or Nomads because if your entry is $18 they pocket the remaining $7. They won't let you use your remaining money on literally anything.

Fantastic experience: Dynomite has such a great climbing community. Everyone is willing to chat and help out with boulder problems. Big ups to the receptionist who always remembers my name and always puts on good music. One tiny nitpick would be the V0 - V1 climbs can feel like you're climbing a basic ladder 80% of the time.

Positive experience: Good little bouldering gym with friendly staff. Only reason for 4 stars is the opening times aren’t too great. Sadly I’ll have to switch back to their competitors in Wollongong due to Dynomite’s lack of opening hours in the morning & rather short opening hours on the weekend. The membership would be worth it if they had much better opening hours. Love the bouldering available & training equip, it’s just the hours that aren’t great!
