Fantastic experience: Great gym, really well equipped and set up. Perfect to train at any time of the day. The staff is super friendly and always happy to help. It’s got great ventilation and air conditioning, so it stays cool even on really hot days. Also worth mentioning how clean and well maintained the place always is. Definitely a great place to train in Surry Hills.

Fantastic experience: Genuinly unreal service. Didnt really speak to any other workers other than ellis but everyone is very nice. I spoke to many people in the gym and had good genuine conversations but i highly rate the level of respect and kindness ellis brings and i encourage everyone to go here. Ellis gives alot of good advice and so do all the trainers

Ellis and the team are very accommodating and friendly since we are just on vacation, and it was my friend’s first time in Sydney. We had a good workout. Fantastic experience: I’m down in Sydney doing the Book of Mormon and the gym is on my work from my accommodation to theatre. I’ve previously used Anytime Fitness for my gym on contracts, but so far this is my favourite of all the gyms I’ve used. The space is clean, the staff are friendly. Ellis the manager is an absolute legend! It’s also got a great culture where I can talk to other people working out. There’s a variety of machines and equipment, and always a monthly challenge to keep people invested. Cannot recommend the place enough.

Positive experience: Not a bad gym. Has the basics and isn’t too busy. I would give more stars if they had a basic standard bench press set up and didn’t cost more than other gyms with far more equipment and services. I could see growing out of the weights they have on offer in the next year but as a beginner gym I think it would be good.

Negative experience: This Anytime is the smallest Anytime in Australia where I’ve visited but it’s not problem. The problem is the air in this gym is not clean and smell some kind of perfume every time.Because of this, I can’t concentrate working out and I feel like throwing up especially night time. I think no one wants to smell a kind of perfume during working out. I’m no sure if it happens only to me or not However,it usually keeps clean and staffs are nice.

Positive experience: compact and yet very friendly team members! ++ I wasn’t happy with the price increase that I would be getting due to my home gym situation and had a chat with one of the female staff. I was expressing my frustration and was trying to find a way to lower my price. But then I was told I don’t need to use this branch and I can go to my previous home gym.. mmmm I’ve moved to Surry hills so that’s not realistic. I felt disappointed the way how I got told to go my previous one so I can’t say everyone is friendly

Fantastic experience: It is not the fanciest AF, but this club has got so much good things for a small club. You won't find the flashiest, newest equipment - but everything in the club is so well-maintained. Most importantly, the club has built a courteous culture, where members wipe equipment and replace weight plates after use - keeping the club very tidy. For this, they deserve 5-stars!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for almost 3 years now and it’s not enormous but it takes really good advantage of the space with a great selection of machines and weights. Strongly recommend if you’re needing a gym while passing by central or Surry Hills. You won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Love love love Ellis, May and the team. AF have fantastic equipment, and the layout is always user friendly wherever you go. Feel very much at home here in AF Surry Hills. My goals aren't huge, I just need to get my mojo on sometimes, I don't feel pressure to do otherwise. I'm so freakn broke, but $23 bucks per week is totally worth it. Honestly people, it's a really great place to be.
