It's a very well laid out club and offers luxury facilities such as full body Red light therapy bed for 30 mins and the amount of equipment is available is absolutely insane. Seriously sets the bar super high for the gym industry across WA ❤️ Also, please go and try their strawberry cream smoothie at their fuel bar, it is simply glorious

Fantastic experience: I have completed one reformer Pilates class and had a tour of the facilities. I was welcomed and felt safe at roar active. There were a variety of different fitness levels and was a good ratio of females to males which made me feel more comfortable and not intimidating. I will be starting my personal training journey with Kyle and looking forward to the one on one training catered to me and my spinal fusion. Thank you roar active Cockburn, for having such a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Ralph at Roar Gym is honestly one of the nicest and most helpful workers there. He’s always friendly, easy to talk to, and goes out of his way to help me and my mates whenever we need anything. One time my friend and I asked if the gym had any Panadol, and Ralph actually went all the way out to his car to grab some for us, seriously above and beyond! It’s people like him that make the gym such a great place to train.

Negative experience: I’ve been a member of this gym for over a year, but my recent experience has been appalling. After coming back from a holiday, on just my second day back, another member approached me while I was on the leg press and made racist comments. I didn’t react at the time because I trusted management to take the matter seriously. Unfortunately, the outcome was nothing more than a written warning for the offender, and I was expected to keep working out alongside someone who racially abused me. There seems to be no zero-tolerance policy on racism here, which is utterly disgraceful. A gym should be a safe and inclusive place — this one clearly is not.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience at Roar Cockburn. Ralph at the front desk gave me a really warm welcome, showed me around, and made me feel like a long-term member from day one. He’s a great asset to the team and no doubt has converted many into long-time members. The group fitness session was awesome fun, with a coach who was both knowledgeable and encouraging. To top it off, the coffee after the session was amazing! There are also plenty of other member amenities I didn’t get a chance to try this time, but I’ll definitely be back to check them out. Highly recommend Roar Cockburn for the friendly atmosphere and motivating workouts.

He is so kind and helpful! He helps a lot with my requests and I am very thankful :) The instructors are awesome too. Jarrod and Ash are great instructors and they make class fun while pushing you to do your best.

Positive experience: I have been coming to Roar for a couple of months now and I do really like it. The staff at the front desk are friendly, they always greet me when I come in and say good bye on my way out. The space itself is great and has lots of equipment, I especially like the peach platform. It is a very busy gym so you may have to wait for equipment even in non peak times. I have given four stars as I feel it could be cleaner near where people put their belongings, it's often sandy/dusty on the ground and in the pigeon holes, I have also seen someone has stuck used gum in there too. The peach platform floor also needs a good clean. Other gym goers could be better at wiping down equipment after they use it. The bathrooms are also a bit aged but always clean. Overall a well priced gym with friendly staff and lots of good equipment so I do recommend.

Fantastic experience: Tried Reformer Pilates for the first time at Roar Cockburn and have really been enjoying it. The classes are well-paced, challenging in a good way, and easy to follow, even as a beginner. Special shoutout to Jarrod, Chloe, and Lani with each bringing something different to their classes, all the while being professional and clear in their instructions. You can tell they know what they’re doing and actually care about helping you improve your form and confidence in class. Highly recommend if you’re thinking about giving Reformer Pilates a go.

Fantastic experience: My favourite gym! I use the infrared sauna every week which is a book ahead completely private sauna, super relaxing to incorporate after your work outs or the days you don’t feel like training. Has a great functional training area & upstairs private glute area so you don’t feel awkward if you want some privacy doing glute exercises. Definitely recommend :)

The gym is huge, well set out, and they’re often bringing in new equipment to meet demand and keep up with trends. My personal trainer Chrissoula has been an amazing resource and support and has really helped me stay on track with my goals. It’s a solid gym with a great vibe.

Fantastic experience: I love Roar Reformer Pilates! I have been attending these classes consistently since I found out I was pregnant and Jarrod has been an amazing instructor in supporting me through my pregnancy. In a class environment Jarrod adjusts certain exercises to keep both me and my baby safe. I had not expected to receive such individual attention and am so grateful to how passionate and helpful he has been. Reformer Pilates has improved my strength, confidence and balance during pregnancy and these classes are definitely worth the money. Thank you!

Ralph is cool ngl 26/6/2025 I had been coming to Roar Active Cockburn Reforner Pilates classes since it started and I must say the instructors are the best especially Jarrod, Chloe, Ash, Siobhan and Lani ! The classes bookings are very popular and hence competitive that it’s always a competition to get into the classes due to the popularity of the instructors ! I can see that I had become more flexible, more balance and building my core muscles slowly post surgery 18 months ago ! The instructors had inspired me to start my training to become a reformer Pilates instructor myself ! Roar Active Cockburn is the gym to go to for all my fitness training !
