Fantastic experience: Of the gyms ive been this is one of the nicest. They dont have a ton of equipment but they do have the basics and more. The staff are cool and are customer focused for sure. The gym is clean and always improving, lots of benefits such as free items, discounts and more. The gym owner clearly put blood, sweat and tears into making it that way.

Always impeccably clean, you can always use the machine you want as it's not crowded, great vibe and great layout as well. It's also aesthetically appealing on the inside. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, excellent customer service. This is my go-to gym in Melbourne

Positive experience: Good range of machines and nice interior. The change rooms are a bit basic though and it's difficult to get changed without putting your stuff on the toilet seat or water cistern. A few additional hooks in each room would fix the problem.

Fantastic experience: Good variety of equipment. The staff and members of this gym keeps it all tidy and sanitary. Haven’t been in peak hours so cannot comment on those times but after 8pm and over, it is a good vibe / people traffic is low, no waiting and not stuffy.

Negative experience: It is a great facility but the staff simply refuse to process cancellation requests. I have requested multiple times via email and over the phone with no action taken. Have been a member for >2 years and am not under contract.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. All types of equipment, clean facilities and superb staff. Had to tweak my memberships a few times and the staff actioned them right on the spot. One of my favourite places!

Negative experience: This place is so scammy. Got told upon sign up that someone would contact me for 2 free training sessions. No one ever did. I called after 6 months of only using my membership once to cancel it and the owner told me I couldn’t cancel it over the phone and instead convinced me to put it on hold for “a few months” which to me would mean 3 months but Lo and behold 2 months later payments starting coming out again and the free personal training sessions that he promised to contact me about after my period on hold still were not offered to me. Eventually after 10 months of not using my membership except for one time I finally was able to get there to cancel it in person and upon canceling my membership, was informed that I would still be paying for my membership for a whole other month before they would finally stop taking payments, despite them already getting 10 months worth of payments and sign up fees from me despite me using the gym only once. Extremely scammy business model!!!

Fantastic experience: Mike is one of the team members who was very professionally showed me around the gym and get me through the sign up process easily. The space for the gym and the equipment looks great. Most of the equipment have a guide/tutorial on how to use it, good for beginners like me ✌️

Positive experience: All the essentials in terms of equipment - Plenty of dumbbells and benches, 1 squat rack and a smith machine down stairs with 2 more squat racks upstairs. Decent there has a deadlift platform also on the ground floor. Clean with plenty of changing rooms. Friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Visited the gym while a short trip to Melbourne. Mike was very welcoming and arranged access for the duration of my stay. I had all the equipment I needed for bodybuilding training and was able to get all my workouts in. Great location, spacious, and not busy during the day. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Visited Plus Fitness Fitzroy today as I was in Melbourne and wanted to go to the gym (I am a member at another Plus Fitness). This gym is amazing, so spacious and clean, with a wide range of equipment, all in excellent working order. I'm a tad jealous of the members who get to work out here regularly. I'll certainly be back when next in Melbourne.

Positive experience: Affordable price but $99 joining fee and $49 fob key fee. A bit outdated in today’s fitness economy!

Fantastic experience: Super hygienic, extremely well renovated and up to date facilities. The owner, Patrick, was helpful and very invested in helping set long term fitness goals.

Negative experience: They have ridiculous hidden rules in their contract. I was injured and put my membership on a hold. The club started charging me again without a heads-up that my membership was reactivated and commenced to blame me for not being on top of it. The staff was very blunt and not understanding. The club is strictly out for your money.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been visiting this gym for the last 8 months and it’s been a great experience. I found the equipment & facilities well maintained and I’ve never seen it overcrowded. It’s got 2-levels so space hasn’t been a problem. With an affordable membership and 24 hour access, this gym has certainly helped me to be consistent with my fitness routine. I hope to return to this gym, when I’m back in Fitzroy or nearby.
