Negative experience: The gym facilities and atmosphere looked solid, until you’re inside, toilets smell and the place is not maintained. My experience with management and Verity was disappointing. I approached with genuine interest, but the way the situation was handled felt dismissive and unprofessional. Hopefully, this feedback helps the team improve their approach.first impressions matter.

Positive experience: Posting for my step daughter. Great gym, but I ask the owners, would you consider banning phones and tripods in the gym? My step daughter had a AVO out on a violent ex. he then found where she trains after she was in the background of someones video filmed at your gym. Please consider the impact these filmers are having on other people who just want a safe place to train. Aside from that I'd recommend this place

Negative experience: My 16 year old son joined the gym and after two days I tried to cancel as my son didn’t like the gym. I called and asked them if they could be understanding and charge me for the two days only but they were not flexible. Total cost $115.

Positive experience: The gym is alright overall — it's spacious, has a decent parking lot, and offers a reasonable variety of equipment. Those are the main positives. On the downside, it definitely feels and looks dated. Many of the machines, treadmills, handles, bars, and benches are pretty worn out. Another issue is the music. I've been coming here for a few months, and while it's usually fine, there are times when they blast heavy, acidic drum & bass on repeat for hours . It feels like getting hit with a sledgehammer for the entire 2-hour workout. No surprise most people wear headphones . I enjoy electronic music myself, but this is on a whole other level (videos don’t even capture how loud it is in reality). So, if a spacious but worn-out nightclub/gym with occasional hardcore drum & bass sounds appealing, it might be worth checking out

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for almost 3 years. Super big gym with everything you could need. Not a body builder, but the diversity of equipment and space in the gym is great. Always feel comfortable, safe. Lots of young people training. Womens area is great too. Not the cleanest gym and can get hot in summer, parking on a monday night is sometimes a battle. Membership works across the three locations which I use regularly.

Negative experience: I was excited about this gym. But since trying to put me and my partners membership on hold we have been met with inconsistent customer service and responses. One membership is on hold and the other is still being charged even though a suspension has been requested. As soon as my membership is finished I will be cancelling

Fantastic experience: The best gym in Mount Waverley and near by suburbs. Great selection of machines and equipment. They have all the equipments that you need. Some said that the toilets are not clean. It is difficult to clean the bathroom after each person. Part of it is on the clients to take care of and part of it is the gym staff responsibility. The staff cannot follow everyone to the bathroom to make sure that they don’t make a mess and clean that up after them. Members are also responsible to keep the bathroom clean. I’ve added photos that show you how people leave their trash in the gym.

Positive experience: Mt Waverley branch is nothing compared to the Clyde North branch. Most equipments are not functional and bits and pieces of plates are coming off. Barely any plates left during peak hours.

Negative experience: This once great gym has been slowly deteriorating since 2019. Issues that haven’t been fixed in the past couple of years: - Barely any 5kg plates. So during peak-hour you will spend time looking for some or have to wait until someone has finished using them. - Half the 10-20kg black plates aren’t the correct weight. There is a noticeable difference with some of them. - Couple of the cable machines are old and look like they’ve been bought from a garage sale. Thus, the good ones are always in use. - Leg curl and leg extension machines have terrible slants. - 0 gym etiquette. 50kg dumbbells will be left at benches and the dumbbells are always in completely random positions. 20kg plates are constantly left on machines and bars making it hard for newcomers to move them. Plates will be taken and abandoned at the green astroturf rolling area. The etiquette is the worst I’ve experienced at any gym. If you attract all the gym-douches, maybe it’s because of your management. The only redeeming quality of this gym is that they have plenty of deadlifting platforms (but good luck finding clamps that aren’t broken)

Negative experience: Let me give everyone a breakdown. I am on a month to month and even though I have requested to cancel the have continued to charge starting I have not canceled. This has continued over 3 payments with dishonour fees. I will be adding a full breakdown over YouTube so please search for this. 100% pick another gym in the area as this one has not and will not operate in a manner that is congruent to the pitch. The attacking the client continues. I have even stated I am happy to pay the 1 month and dishonour fee but they continue to justify a position, blame the client and threatens the debt collectors. As this continues I will keep everyone informed. I’m sure we will see a response here from them attacking once again.

Negative experience: Great facility, disgusting exit process. I left the gym 6 months ago and I thought I already told the front desk that I wanted to quit a month in advance. No record of that was recorded so many months later I was hit with overdue fees of $187, which I payed in full. THEN 2 months later, they hit me with an overdue fee of $45. Ive payed the $187 in full already, this is absurd.

Negative experience: Overall nice gym. But I don’t understand why there is a female only area. Why the segregation? If there is a female only area where is the male only area? Why should I pay for something I cannot use. Why I pay the same membership amount so someone else can use their own space ? Thats pretty stupid ! And if you remove the female only area and the useless Pilates room, you could make the best gym ever with more space and equipment
