Fantastic experience: Seth, the Club Manager, always makes me feel welcome from the moment I walk in. He greets everyone by name, checks in to make sure everything’s running smoothly, and genuinely takes the time to talk to members. The gym is always clean, organised, and well-stocked thanks to his constant effort. His friendly attitude and hard work create such a positive, welcoming atmosphere - it honestly makes a big difference coming into the gym.

Fantastic experience: Zap premium has been an overall excellent gym experience. The dialed in design, smart machines, clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff has kept me coming back. I was very impressed with Seth from the team. He didnt have to but went the extra mile by checking in on me after I had subluxed my arm. Every gym needs a legend like Seth.

Fantastic experience: Harry at the Salamanca was an absolute delight to deal with, so warm and friendly but professional when needed. He is an absolute pleasure to deal with and an asset to your company, that's for sure. I can say, after working decades in sales management, that staff like Harry are a rare find! Well done Zap for hiring such a wonderful employee! Great hiring!

Negative experience: Hi everyone, I canceled Anytime Fitness member to join a Zap premium in Battery Point (Salamanca); Avantages: - location: good; free parking after 6pm - cleaning: cleaner will come after 7pm every day; toilets and bathrooms mostly cleaned Disavantages: - machine: good conditions, but some of those did not maintain well; such as a multipower in a middle of a place; puller need to be filled oil even I asked for 5 months ago until now, so hard to lift it up when I use it for lifting set. - staff: bored, not welcome and some of them are racist if you are Asian background and not willing to help; they are try to pass your demand to customer service although they can solve a problem in their abilities. - locker: some of them are broken and can be locked. - trading hours: staff hours are terrible, not 24/7 and member rates are costly than Zap. - fees: acceptable if the service are well maintained. I wish the owner or others cooperation can see my post to up to date and take care of those members as well as machines and staff need to be trained well before they are in charged.

Fantastic experience: Great place to train. Staff friendly, awesome range of equipment and has the added bonus of a sauna and steam room.

Fantastic experience: Was in Hobart for the week and had the pleasure of working out at zap Salamanca. I was very impressed with JACK who worked the front desk. He was super helpful and professional.

Negative experience: Closed when says open and staffed on website, pointless having open or close hours

Positive experience: Only reason why I didn't give 5 starts is when I go there sometimes the steam room is out of order and one time it was turned off because a staff member was on lunch break but there were other staff in the gym why turn it off anyway if a staff member has to go have a break, ridiculous and another thing 5.30 close when most of the others are 24/7, if people are paying premium should shut at at least 9.00pm

Negative experience: The comment is about the Zap membership management team rather than the stores. I can totally understand now why more friends leaving Zap and comes to Anytime or other Gym as the experience with their membership management team is so terrible. My premium contract was expires on October 2023 and they still charge me, I called them to cancel my membership they said they would like to freeze my account for 3 months, and if I would chose to leave afterwards they can cancel it for me. However, I chose not to come back to Zap in the end of the three months freeze. Then they said I have to give 4 weeks notice to cancel my membership. What a ridiculous! My contract has expired so long time ago! Are you really can accept it if you are a Zap member? "I have nothing can do for you" "this is your choice" are the most words they are use. anyone has similar experience?

Fantastic experience: I signed up a couple of months ago and couldn’t recommend more. The gym is spotless clean, organised and well maintained. The premium vibe adds to it with black walls, good lighting and very stylish decoration. There’s a good atmosphere from other members and the staff is really lovely and helpful. No wonder it’s getting busier…I hope they have an expansion on the horizon! Haha

Fantastic experience: The gym has room to move, very clean, and a good selection of equipment. It was fairly central to where I stayed in Sandy Bay. I was on holidays and it was excellent that it was staffed on weekends so I could utilise a casual membership and not miss a session. The staff member was very helpful. The music was good and not too loud. Also, a great ambience with patrons being respectful of others. No dropping of weights and equipment left laying around. Definitely come back when I Hobart again.

Negative experience: Edit. Multiple times the lack of cleanliness has been raised to the hierarchy, multiple times they claim to have dealt with it all of which has been a lie, showers go unwashed for days on end with no care for people's health... photos are of 3 day old stains and dirt... The gym itself is good, has some really weird and ozymoronic rules/views such as can have a 40kg dumbbell but not allowed a kettle bell over 20kg... make sure everything is perfect when you sign up because they won't change or accommodate for anyone. I feel this is not the gym itselfs problem but the head office that let's it down... all in all a nice set up, my personal gripes are absolutely no introduction to the technology they talked up so much and the steam room and showers need more regular cleaning but again, a pretty good set up... Won't post pictures in this review as that may breach other guests privacy... There is absolutely no parking either so be prepared for large walks or massively overpriced parking, it costs me $66pw to park for 2hrs per day. The response is also evidence of the lack of care provided, nothing has changed, just a thanks for your review... They also block the phone number of the complainant as god forbid a call centre actually served its customers

Fantastic experience: I live 25 mins from zap premium but I make the travel because I can’t find better anywhere else, a coach cheyane gave me a tour and a helpful chat about the gym and I couldn’t recommend her more. She is a great aspect to the gym!

Fantastic experience: Lots of great equipment in excellent condition. Huge range of cardio machines available and always clean and tidy. Team are always friendly and helpful. Ash in particular has exceptional customer service and makes you feel truly welcome. It very much delivers a premium quality.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with my experience at Zap Premium, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The gym has great equipment and usually accessible even at peak hours. I appreciate the convenient locations of Zap as I can always find a gym when I am travelling for work or visiting family.

Negative experience: Is this location permanently closed? It is advertised as being open until 8:30 on Fridays but it is a ghost vessel.

Fantastic experience: Premium is a really nice gym. The facilities are always clean and the staff are friendly - special shout out to Avery. It’s just a much nicer vibe than any other gym I’ve been to, and it’s never overly busy too! For the equivalent extra price of a coffee each week, I think it’s definitely worth the upgrade to premium.

Fantastic experience: Top of the range equipment, wonderful staff and impeccable facilities

Negative experience: There is a staff there who is not very responsible, providing poor customer service and having poor problem solving skill. The customer service team should have a better internal communication. The lockers should be checked regularly, they sometimes stop working so that I have to look for staff assistance. Once I needed to wait around an hour to let someone open my locker. During the time, I made 5 calls and had been so worried to get a parking ticket coz my car key was in the locker. After that, I received no apology but was told that the staff deserve to have a rest. It was very unhappy experience!
