Positive experience: Very new to the gym , so far great and wish I could spend more time at zap than work!

Fantastic experience: Luka at Hobart City Zap is genuinely the GOAT — he’s always there with a smile, keeping the gym spotless, helping everyone out, and making the whole place feel like a second home. He knows his stuff, gives solid advice, and somehow remembers everyone’s name like it’s nothing. The energy just hits different when he’s around. Honestly, like Uncle Ben said in Spider-Man, “With great power comes great responsibility” — and Luka lives that. He’s the quiet hero keeping the whole gym running strong.

Fantastic experience: Super lovely staff and clean gym, manager is extremely helpful and doesn’t look at all like Spider-Man.

The gym just feels better when he’s around — more focused, more energetic, more like a community. Hobart City Zap wouldn’t be the same without him.

Fantastic experience: I Love that it os available 24/7 and it is also reassuring knowing it is a safe place. Maintaining Cleanliness, Safety, Security is enough to make us Happy.

Fantastic experience: Great gym in the city centre. The majority of machines are all premium Life-Fitness, not the latest models, but they are in great condition. I would say this gym is more for isolation exercise. Large array of cable machines and plate-loaded machines. Would see it struggling if multiple people came for a squat rack or bench. I like the layout of having the hybrid exercisers downstairs i.e cross-fit style. Much better ventilation than some other branches. Clean showers are a bonus.

Positive experience: Affordable yet has almost everything. Think it needs a bit more ventilation tho. Still a great gym.

Fantastic experience: Got to know the manager Luka, had a workout with him because I wanted some tips and he’s super supportive and knowledgeable. Overall great dude and would recommend this gym to anyone. here’s a photo I took of him during a workout together.

Negative experience: Music is both obnoxious and obnoxiously loud, with no option to change it or the volume whatsoever. Otherwise functional, metal slabs to lift up and down, many such cases!
