Fantastic experience: Zap Hobart Has Such An Amazing Layout 2 Stories And Nice Cold Drinking Water Staff Here Are Amazing

Negative experience: Well yea. Don’t sign up for their membership. Under their T&C~ $5/week while you ‘pause’ your membership and regular payment will be charged every week for another 30 days once you cancel your membership which they called it ‘cooling period for cancellation’. Think about this bs before you sign up for their membership.

Positive experience: Really good array of equipment. Gym was busy even in the middle of the day but never needed to wait to use equipment. Staff seen cleaning too. The machines are in good condition, the brand here is mostly Precor for cables and Matrix for cardio. The only flaw is I wouldn't dare use the shower because it was very filthy. If they ever upgrade suggest better change rooms other than the toilets. Otherwise thumbs up for price and value!

Negative experience: Poor cancellation experience overrules any positives i could give this gym

Fantastic experience: Easy access and great location. The equipment was in good condition and well laid out.

Negative experience: Never a staff member in during supposed "staffed hours". Been trying to go in and cancel my membership multiple times now and can't because the website doesn't provide that service. Can't call because I work during their open call hours. Finally called today DURING their open hours and still got sent to voice mail. Honestly a joke.

Fantastic experience: Very prompt in replying to emails. I'm on a 3 month contract with work in Hobart, from Cairns, Qld. They accepted my fitness passport..so happy with that. Thank you. Facilities nice and clean, the guy who gave me the assess to gym was very friendly. Thank you.

Negative experience: Can y’all not leave your Band-Aid’s on the floor of the gym?? I’ve been to 3 of the zap gyms in Hobart and they’re probably the 3 most disgusting gyms I’ve visited in my life.

He is just a nice guy with a smile on his face and welcomes every member kindly . Thanks Zap and Luka for my gym sessions .

Positive experience: Great gym, I love the fact it is open 24X7 so I can do in before and after work and I can go in late when there is not many at the gym. I do find ZAP Fitness a bit on the expensive side

Negative experience: Nice gym, good facilities. But way too hot in the evening. Is there no temperature control at the gym? I thought that was pretty standard these days.. Everyone is sweating and it smells pretty bad.

Negative experience: It’s a well set out gym in a good location, but it can get very hot inside and there’s no ventilation so it invariably smells like B.O. Also there has been no YouTube available for months now, apparently they’re too busy fixing more important problems but they sure don’t forget to withdraw the charge every fortnight.

Positive experience: Nice range of equipment, but. 1. Showers are gender-neutral (as in shared), and it stinks there, like a lot. Sticky shower curtains, puddles on the floor, not enough hooks to put your clothes on. 2. No-one re-racks their weights. It's the worst! I saw personal trainers not once going through 7 stations with their clients and just dropping plates and bars all over the place. A person who works at the gym's entrance just stands there, reading emails. No actions are taken on the members who leave mess and weights behind. These two issues are the reason I've left ZAP.

Positive experience: Sometimes the music can be a bit loud. Has a nice amount of equipment plus a big area for pushing/pulling stuff. Could do with some more leg machines. Also there always seems to be a dozen bags in the storage boxes even if there are 2 other people in the gym. Ghosts?

Positive experience: facilities are fine, other recommendations for improvement in other comments are justified, but the reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because when I had to cancel my membership it was absolutely painless. well done.
