Fantastic experience: Health works west end is setting the standard for what a modern weightlifting gym should be. Check out my video review by searching 'philthy woodhouse' on youtube They have paid the extra money to buy quality, sturdy functional equipment. Not to many gyms have a deadlift platform let alone 3! The squat racks are fully customizable and built to last The dumbbell range is impressive starting low and finishing around 200pounds, now that a serious bicep curl Friendly staff makes you forget its part of a larger network of gyms The gym is a mix between the ‘staying fit kind of guy’ and the serious national level power lifters and body builders. Pick you times to come so you avoid the 4-7pm rush but other than that there is heaps of room, a fitness classroom and a crèche This is my top pick of gyms in Brisbane

Fantastic experience: The best gym un the world. The staff is highly professional and friendly. The whole layout makes you feel like you want to spend more time in there, than you actually should (even if you're not a gym rat ). Equipment is top notch and really there is enough space and equipment for all sorts of training. Crossfit, power and Olympic weight lifting, bodybuilding, general health and fitness, cardio machines. Really love the place and would highly recommend. Even as a 3 time olympian I really can't find a flaw.
