Our functional training sessions are run in 6 week phases, designed with a progression in strength and conditioning and the sessions are scalable and designed to work for everyone from beginners, right through to advanced fitness enthusiasts.

â?? The biggest fear in anyone joining a gym is that the second you walk through the door everyone will be looking at you, right? Luckily at OneUp your not joining a gym, but entering into one of the most supportive & welcoming environments to help you better YOURSELF.

They say what YOU put in, is what YOU get out- TRUE, but my god its so much easier when you have someone guiding you along the way. Carls and the OneUp family will always encourage, support and push you to better yourself.

Almost two years ago my girlfriends & I joined OneUp and my ultimate goal was to lose weight (typical). After such a short time attending the various (killer) classes I noticed that I wasnâ??t actually going to the gym to â??lose weightâ??, I was going because I generally enjoyed it. No one day is the same, no one class is the same. If you are considering coming along to one of our classes, please do it. Send Carly a message (heck, send me a message too) & come give it a crack- promise you, youâ??ll LOVE it (maybe once the class is finished & you catch your breath LOL).

PS: My photos, there is less than 8kgs difference between them. I wish there was some way of calculating how much better you FEEL than just a silly number on a set of scales- iâ??d be off that Richter scale.â??

I first started at OneUp in August 2019, 18 months ago. I was the heaviest I had been at almost 70kgs and was miserable. I was being tested for Arthritis, Lupus and had constant pains in my knee and elbow. I had never been into gyms and never lasted more than a month before giving up but my sister went to OneUp and I thought it was worth a try and I needed a change.

From my very first class I have never felt so supported, welcomed and of course pushed when I need a little bit of extra encouragement to get things done. OneUp really is a gym family!

Over the past 18 months I have lost 10kgs, countless centimeters and body fat and gained so much strength. I have gone from never lifting a weights bar to squatting and deadlifting my body weight.

I have maintained my weight for over the past 6 months and have been working more on strength and toning. This summer I was even comfortable enough to wear a bikini at the beach. I am still a work in progress, and I doubt that will ever change but I know with OneUp and Carly I am in the right place and love turning up to the gym each week. I can't recommend this place enough. This gym has changed my life and I will be forever grateful!â??

â??I started at Oneup like everyone else, hoping to lose weight but the thought of actually walking into a gym where you donâ??t know anyone was terrifying and being someone who is a bit older than the traditional gym goer, what was I thinking? I wish I had found my gym family so much earlier, but I was worried about being judged. There is none of that at Oneup, we are very definitely one big supportive family. Carly is an amazing instructor, always encouraging whether its training or with nutrition advice and the people you meet are awesome. I never thought I would be someone who would enjoy going to the gym as much as I do, I never used to be that person. I get so much out of my gym sessions, more than I would ever have thought possible. Not only have I managed to lose some weight (yes thatâ??s great cause I feel fantastic), the most important thing Iâ??ve found is the things I can do that I never thought I could. My daily nutrition is so much better and is just a part of my life now, and my mental strength is something I could have used years ago!

I love being a positive influence on my daughter (who also goes to Oneup with me) and pushing myself to be better all the time.So while losing the weight was the initial goal, Carly and Ant and the Oneup family have helped my achieve more than I would ever have thought possible. So if youâ??ve been thinking about maybe joining a gym for what ever reason, DM, call, message Carly and come and check us out for yourself. Age is no barrier and you wonâ??t regret it, I promise

Just turn up to a class, it's all worked out for you what to do and away you go.... It is testing but worth it.. great inclusive vibe in the classes too..
