Fantastic experience: I have had the best experience with the Manager, she is so kind and knowledgeable. At first I was taken back and almost didn't join, just due to the size of the Gym. I was training at quite a large gym so it was a little shock at first. Its my third day back training and I'm so glad I did in the end, I'm in love. Its like I have my own personal gym I have found a training time that no one else is there. I love it. It has everything you need to do a work out as if it was one of those big gyms. I have already been able to start to see my muscle definition return. The best personal experience, you feel the passion and commitment and warmth in the experience, it honestly makes such a nice unexpected difference. Really highly recommend this gym!

Positive experience: As a long term member, I do really love this gym. It’s not the biggest gym and there isn’t a huge range of machines to chose from but they do have all the essentials and it’s rarely busy, so you get free reign over the equipment that’s there. The staff are absolutely great. There’s no judgment and they are always happy to help. All round, great gym.

Fantastic experience: Presilla signed me up this afternoon and from the outset new this was the gym for me. I was quite anxious about joining a gym and she calmed my nerves about it. The gym is small but that's not necessarily a bad thing, there may not be 10 of every machine but there's plenty to go around still.

Fantastic experience: Actually totally love this gym! I've only been a handful of times but Im already a big fan of this specific snap. Pros: mirrors everywhere (on 3 walls), I've only visited at night but there's loads of parking, majority of the equipment seems new or at the very least is in good condition, everyone I've interacted with has been very friendly so good atmosphere, I like the limited amount of machines as I use freeweights but I imagine it would be a con for some, the full length mats is a huge plus for me not having to pick either your hands or your knees being off the mat makes the difference, I really appreciate the sprays and cloths instead of wipes or paper towel so much more environmentally friendly and guaranteed to have some there unlike the wipes at alot of other snaps. Con: there's only a single combined toilet/shower and the latch can be very difficult to lock or unlock, its much much much smaller than a typical snap so even 5 people can feel very crowded.

Fantastic experience: Once in a blue MOON I will do a review but Had to do one today . I have been to a handful of SNAP Fitness Gyms in Brisbane but the one in MT. Gravatt East I have been training there for 8 years . To be honest the new Manager has made this the cleanest Gym I have ever seen in a Gym . Pool next door makes it the one of the Best to train in Brizvegas.All they need is a Professional Massage person to get some knots out from pumping Iron :)

Negative experience: Pretty small gym, equipment left lying around. Gets pretty crowded peak hours for such a small gym. Managment can improve to have a more friendly front rather than front desk person sitting on phone.

Positive experience: This place is rather small, although it does have a deal with the pool next door, it still is expensive and totally not worth it.

Negative experience: Snap Fitness Mount gravatt - An uncomfortable shoebox, and traps it's members into extra payments. A place you regret giving your money to. I have been a member of 6 different gyms and this one is hand down the worst I have experienced. Severe spacial issues - The size of the gym is the size of a standard living room with only about 12 different machines which leave you no room to feel comfortable, especially around other members. *Core exercises are not possible without being in the way. No fresh air - It practically gets no ventilation, the staff are fully capable of doing this. (but if they're not signing people up, I don't think I've seen them do anything besides sit and socialize. I won't begin to talk about the smell in the only (1) bathroom it has (toilet/shower/place to you wash your hands, all in the one place. This means half the time you just wanna wash your hands or pee you will be waiting) Snobby staff who treat overweight adults like children Unrepaired equipment - takes over a month to restore broken dumbells, of which they only have 1 set of freeweights. (Good luck when this happens...) - The carpet comes off of the ground, - The music is constantly overly loud it hurts - The aircon is randomly left on, off too long. 1 star. I joined this joint because I thought the cost was low, but it ended up costing me more in the end. - If you're thinking of signing up, think carefully about other alternatives. - If you DO sign up though and if you injure yourself/can't attend, ensure to ask to leave the club immediately. Rejoining will not cost. (cite leaving country for immediate contract release, or they keep charging you for another month) - If you are a member and must go, ALWAYS avoid peak hour. OTHERWISE, visit other clubs. they don't usually have shoebox stores and stinge about air-con usage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The above is all true. However, The following explains how this business stole 6 weeks of membership money and got away with it. 2.5 months ago I broke my hand > Forgot I had account still going (oh well my bad, 1 month membership $ down drain, fair enough) 1 MONTH LATER > Called up store manager to suspend account > Arranged to suspend my account untill I called back restoring status *Hand has not healed, so I did not call back 1.5 MONTHS LATER > Inquire(by chance), and am told account was never suspended. And that I now have a payment due + failed payment fee. (This means I'd been paying 6 weeks for no services, when my account was supposed to be suspended) > Explain situation, worker says she'll tell store manager tomorrow and I'll get call tomorrow > phone call never happens > Show up 5 days later > Explain entire situation about arrangement with store manager, > Find out that staff didn't document the entire thing, and that the wrong proceedure was followed by store manager. > Am told this, Because I have no evidence of this conversation that I'm fully responsible for the cost incurred (due to the by the store manager failing to follow proceedure) (Despite the complete absence of visits, the broken hand that wouldn't heal, and the story that matches up including doctors certificate + sole phone call to Snap) as the store manager informs me that I'm responsible for the entire bill and there is nothing they can do. > Brick walled "sorry there's nothing we can do" Phone call next day > My account has been cancelled, stating the issue is now "resolved". > Am told I am banned from premises > Have police charges threatened for publicly stating I This was not a resolution, these are thug tactics from institutionalized theives. Despite being a member for over a year, no real resolution was attempted because the staff refused to admit fault. I learned my lesson, don't repeat my mistakes. All these places have the same equipment nowadays (I amost forgot, this one only has around half the equipment of most stores). Find a better store to go to, not hard.
