Our comment from FitFit Australia about Castle Hill Fitness & Aquatic Centre:
Castle Hill Fitness & Aquatic Centre offers a variety of fitness and aquatic facilities for individuals and families alike. Many users praise the friendly and helpful staff who contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place to exercise. The gym is frequently mentioned for its cleanliness and well-maintained equipment, providing a pleasant environment for workouts.
Parents have highly recommended the children's swimming lessons and the creche facilities, which many kids enjoy. Classes are noted as fun and engaging, and the community aspect of the centre fosters good interactions among members.
However, some users highlight areas needing improvement, including customer service experiences at the reception and other areas. Concerns about the quality of swimming instruction and the availability of spaces during peak hours have also been raised. Overall, while there are some complaints about staffing and management practices, the centre remains a popular choice for fitness enthusiasts in the area.

Castle Hill Fitness & Aquatic Centre: Opinions
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. Highly recommend
Negative experience: I was very disappointed by the lack of consideration and rude behavior. It was my first time at the center and my first yoga ball class. I arrived five minutes late because it took me some time to find the room due to the lack of signage. When I finally located the room and peeked in to ensure I was in the right place, the instructor was quite rude and didn't allow me to enter. They also mentioned that they had run out of balls, despite my having registered for the class. Having attended numerous centers in the past, I have never experienced such rudeness before. In your description about your call you should also mention that you will be humiliated if you come late even if it’s your first class and you are only few min late.
Fantastic experience: My daughter has been attending this centre for about 6weeks, to get ready for her 2nd season of nippers. The team here have been working with her patiently to rework some bad habits she had created. In just 6 weeks the improvement has been incredible. Huge Thankyou to Connor for his persistence with her and to Vanessa, the improvement she made after 1 session with you was incredible. Cannot Thankyou enough.
Fantastic experience: I love trying at CH Fitness, the classes are fun and there’s a creche which my baby loves. The baby swimming classes are also fantastic and the cafe and restaurants are also amazing. I always have a good time there!
Positive experience: Improve showers facilities the pools are fine
Positive experience: Nice gym with all the gym equipment available and a pleasant atmosphere.
Negative experience: Lazy staff, very unhelpful and they don’t listen. All they do is refer you to their rubbish app.
Negative experience: my child told me that she got yelled at by a swimming instructor! unacceptable.
Negative experience: Do not sign any contract. you will pay extra after cancelation.
Fantastic experience: A big shoutout to Jordan from the fitness team and Ash from CHRSL management team! Their dedication and exceptional service truly stand out. We appreciate all your efforts! Thank you both for going above and beyond
Hi Andy,Thanks for the kind review and acknowledgment of our team. I believe we have been able to get to the bottom of the little problem you had and sort it all out. Have a great week and hope to see you back here soon :)
Positive experience: Not fancy small pools with spa saunas. Easy to go.
Negative experience: water is not maintained to the temperature. Customer service point of view when u made call. No one pick up phone call,
Fantastic experience: Great equipment. Staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. A real community feel. Only gripe is that the RSL could spend some money on the change rooms
Negative experience: This is for Castle hill fitness centre only. Bad customer service, staff definitely need training to provide clearer information and be more inclusive towards different clients. Reception staff are extremely rude and have no clue how to deal with first timers who haven't even received great instructions from their own colleagues..I even experienced racist tones from the reception staff.. The stars are only for the instructor who was doing her job and was helpful..
Hi Neha,Sorry for your negative experience. We have a diverse and very inclusive membership here at the Centre with many long standing members making up our community with our Customer Service, something we take great pride in. So your allegations are certainly concerning. I understand there was some confusion with your first visit and how you entered the facility leading to the conversation you had with a staff member. We have sent you an email and if you would like, we are happy to further discuss the matter you have raised above.Kind regards,Management
Negative experience: I joined this gym because of the fitness classes. For more than a month the gym has said they are having 'technical issues with their server' and you cannot book classes online. Their solution is to turn up 1 hour before the class to see if you can get a ticket. This is a great solution for people like me who work full time. I definitely don't have an extra hour to waste turning up in the hope that I will get a ticket. Poor effort for the amount they charge. Until this issue is resolved, I do not think they should be charging their members their weekly fee. Then add on their cyber issue where all of my banking details have potentially been leaked to hackers. Not happy. You really need to lift your level of customer service.
Hi Lee,We were very sorry for the 3 weeks where we have had to move to an óld school 'arrive an hour before class' to get a ticket process. It certainly is not what we wanted to do, but we were being guided by people working through different IT complications. Fortunately very very few classes were at 100% occupancy in this period, so very few people who came down left disappointed. We have no been formally advised that we can't use the previous software, so we have set up a new online booking system which can be found in the app store by searching Castle Hill Fitness, or if you come into the club, a member of staff will be able to help you.Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.
Negative experience: Booked a swimming assessment for my kids. Got confirmation email. We live 10km away. When we arrive they tell us they can't assess her as she is an existing student. Very poor management and teachers. Most kids stay in same level for 1-2 years. The teachers just make them swim and don't tell them technique or positioning of body. Then when they are assessed for the next level, they say oh kids leg bending too much, hips not high enough, chin should be further down. None of these comments are passed down to the kids so that they can improve. Not once in two years was my daughter told not to bend her kids and when we spoke to assessor they said that's why she didn't pass. The teacher said 4 months ago she was ready for next level. But since then she has failed the assessment twice because assessor is marking to a different standard to the teachers
Thank you for the considerable time we spent discussing this matter with you and your husband at our facility yesterday. We appreciate your concerns and will take on board some of your suggestions. We wish you the best and encourage your child to continue her aquatic education at a centre closer to your new home.
Negative experience: Facility ok, management and staff training questionable. Went for a swim and asked the receptionist if I need to pay extra if I want to use the steam room, receptionist said no. Later found out that steam room is actually located in the GYM which is seperate from the pool and needs a $25 entry fee. BTW the pool side is cash only. During my 2*5 minutes in the female change room I encountered two boys at least over the age of 5-6 despite the fact that there is a family change room. It’s just so inappropriate. Sayonara castle hill fitness centre, won’t come again.
Positive experience: Started my gym journey here back in 2019. Wanted to thank the massive unit of a PT with the buzzcut for saving me while I was dying under a 40kg bench back then hahaha
Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this gym for a few months, and I love it. The gym equipment is new, and the place is spacious and clean. I also find the staff kind and helpful. They’re unlike other gym’s staff who force you to buy the membership or PT classes.
Negative experience: Staff is not cooperative and do not help in booking. They have developed new app which is confusing and staff do not help.
Hi Anupa,Sorry to hear of your experience in our Swim School. The Swim School do have a new App and we certainly acknowledge there have been some teething problems implementing it for staff and parents alike. We are still working with the supplier to fine tune it so that it makes for a better customer experience.
Fantastic experience: Great facilities and friendly staff.
Negative experience: Both of my child went to this school from 2011 to 2018. In a recent swim with friends, he was told about his swim technique was not correct. As a result, his freestyle is so strenuous because his technique was not corrected and should have been corrected by the instructor during those years.
Hi Kian We're obviously happy that both your children were able to learn to swim with us between 2011 and 2018. We hope during that time they learnt many valuable skills that have served them well in the years since. We obviously can't speak to what your son was and wasn't taught, how his swim stroke has developed or changed over the 5 years since he finished up with us, or to the swim coaching knowledge your friend may have, but he is always welcome to return and be assessed or trained. We have classes for all ages anbd abilities and have a wide range of new instructors and coaches and many still with us who have been developing their skills over the five years since you were last here. Kind regards,Managment
Negative experience: Customer service is terrible
Fantastic experience: Great aqua class and coffee with friends afterwards
Thanks guys, Great to hear. Catching up with friends is an important part of coming to the centre for so many of our members.
Positive experience: Slightly overcrowded every thursday night
Fantastic experience: Great staff, clean equipment. Plenty of room and space
Thanks Jacob for taking the time to provide that feedback. Much appreicated
Negative experience: PLEASE STOP LETTING KIDS PLAY IN THE LAP POOL WHERE PEOPLE ARE SWIMMING!!! Also... $11 for a single swim? Really??
Hello,Sorr y for the slow reply. We generally don't allow children to play in the lap pool. There may have been a lane dedicated for children to do some exercise while the program pool was closed for renovation, but with the Program Pool reopened, you hopefully won't have that problem again. With regard to the price, that is the price for non RSL Members. We do encourage people to become members of Castle Hill RSL Group ($5.50 for 2 years) and member prices are then just $5.50 for a swim.Sorry you had a disapointing experience on your last visit and hope you are back and have a more enjoyable swim next time
Fantastic experience: Very nice and clean gym with helpful and friendly awesome service from the staff ramone? (Not so sure about his name). Thanks!
Negative experience: Terrible place to train. Always dirty never cleaned properly. Staff members are not polite neither friendly. Staff members don’t take my children seriously.
Hi Jovan; We're very sorry to hear about your negative experience. I have just tried to look up when you were in the club to see if I can identify the problem, but we don't seem to have a record of anyone by your name. We'd certainly be interested in knowing more about your experience so we can improve. Please don't hesitate to contact the club on 9846 1200 or email the Manager at [email protected] a nice day Jovan.
Fantastic experience: Really good. Staff were exceptional. It's an awesome place. Easy parking near door around the back.
Thanks so much Joanne for the nice review.
Fantastic experience: I recently signed up at C2K and Caprice, Liv and Molly were so friendly and made the whole process so easy
Fantastic experience: I loved this place I spent practically most of my childhood here just trying to get the damn bronze level. Many fond memories of this place including that one time I nearly drowned and nobody was around which was funny (I was young, I swear can swim) .
Positive experience: Large variety of fitness equipments, great staff support, reasonable fees, a place of choice if you are serious about your wellness.
Fantastic experience: Best gym I’ve been to! The staff are wonderful and all are super helpful. Remon is the most lovely soul you will ever meet! It is always clean and the machinery are maintained very well!
Negative experience: I won’t recommend this fitness. The reception was mended by kids and they got our details on the enrollment form but the details on the system differs from the form we submitted. This shows how incompetent the kids working at the reception.
Negative experience: Truely not recommended! Poor management with lack of instructors and staff! There are a few intructors are great! But I don't understand how they can put 6-8 students in a 30mins lesson, that's such a waste of time and it's not worthwhile in paying the similar amount but the other swim schools has maximum 4 students in a 30-45mins lesson. The learning progress is extremely slow, my girl only got one skill ticked off out of 9 in order to complete the level, since her last assessment 3 months ago, that is almost like a no progress in 3 months! I tried to email them to ask for the reassessment, there's no reply at all, this is totally unacceptable! So far I am happy with their instructors but I am very disappointed with their arrangements and customer service!!
Negative experience: My son was learning well in carlile swimming and then we moved him to Castle hill rsl swimming. since last 5 months he is in same level. When i enquired about the progress or rather lack of it, i was told on an avg it takes 9 months for a child to move from one level to another. There are 10 levels for basic program so by that logic it will take 90 months or 7.5 years for a 7 year old child to learn just basic swimming and it will cost $14000. If you are in Castle hill swimming forget competitive swimming. you can only learn basics by the time you are adult.Laughable to say the least.
Hi Neeraj,Sorry to hear you are frustrated with your child’s progress in the term and a half you have been with us. As per your comments above, we do have 10 levels (11 technically), and yes most would progress through a level in around 3 school terms. However. The level 1 is for children generally aged around 6 months. So generally a child can have moved through level 10 and into squads at any age from 8 to 12 years of age. At $22 a lesson for 40 weeks in a year, you will find that comes in at around half the total cost you have calculated. Like all swim schools, there is no advantage to keeping a child in a level when they are ready to move on – there is always more to teach and learn to better help a child develop the skills to enjoy swimming and potentially save their life. We know that swimmers will instinctively use the skills and techniques they have developed and practiced repeatedly in regular swimming and water safety lessons every time they enter the water, so that is why we are thorough, like all reputable swim schools. That said, children learn at different speeds and some children respond differently to different teachers. If you feel your child isn’t progressing, please speak to our team and we can discuss the type of teacher you feel your child responds best to and we can try and match them with someone accordingly. Kind regards,Management
Negative experience: I must say that I am extremely disappointed with the experience my family and I had with the swimming facility we attended. My daughter had been attending for two years, and after much anticipation, she was meant to move up to the next class. However, the facility refused, claiming there was no space available. When the new year began, my wife and I were bombarded with calls from multiple staff members demanding that we move her up. We eventually agreed to a suitable time on a different day, but because they had failed to allow her to move up six months earlier, she couldn't do the transition class where I am out of the pool. This created issues because she doesn't know her new teacher and doesn't trust them. We continued to attend classes every week, and we would sit on the side while the other children were engaged. However, my daughter's last lesson was particularly unpleasant. She was sitting on the side, upset, and I knelt beside her to talk to her. To our dismay, the supervisor came over and said to the teacher, "Don't bother with her," before walking away. This was heard by myself and her grandparents, loud and clear. Unfortunately, this is not the first issue we have had with the facility's staff. I strongly believe that higher management needs to urgently investigate the staffing structure of the facility. If not addressed, more people will leave due to the poor conditions. As a concerned parent, I hope that this issue can be resolved as soon as possible so that other families do not have to go through what we did.
Negative experience: Half lane jammed with 6 kids!?!? Some Instructors are not professional at all! We had an extremely disappointing experience today with one of the instructors for stage 8, she was mostly standing there at the same spot with eyes wandering around rather than watching the kids , 5 kid’s swimming with little distance in between each other, my daughter got kicked on the head many times by the girl in front of her, the instructors didn’t even noticed! She didn’t even try to correct the mistakes the kids are making! I ended up talked to someone from the management, she told me her staff is doing what they need to do, she didn’t do anything not excepted, also told me they are busy and popular because their instructors are good….. We are looking at enrolling different places, this place need a much better management, some of the instructors seriously shouldn’t be there at all.
Negative experience: Normally the front reception staff are generally friendly but today (12:30pm to 1:30pm) I found the staff to be rude, condescending and disinterested. I must apologise that my Fitness Passport was not working properly on your two scanners and it required an effort on your part. Also, it was rather delightful that they ordered me around to come to the front desk straight after my workout as if I committed a cardinal sin. I should also point out the normal customer service etiquette went out the door with no 'sorry', 'please' or anything like that. It only improved when it appeared a senior staff member was at the front reception once I returned back after my workout that the staff started being pleasant. I am happy to be contacted and I can provide the names of the staff and further information to support my complaint.
Hi Jimmy,We would be more than happy to talk to you. We have watched footage from that day as we take complaints about service very seriously. While I believe i can identify you based on your time of visit and you being a Fitness Passport user, unfortunately i can't see anyone by the name of "Jimmy" in the people who checked in on that day so i am unable to reach out. But if you would like to call the Club on 98461200 and ask for the Manager or email [email protected] we will be happy to speak with you.
Negative experience: BE CAREFUL WITH YOU BELONGINGS. Personal Stuff went missing from RSL club. My kid left his winter jacket and pants at the aquatic centre on Friday after swimming. When I went to collect it after 2 days on Monday, it was missing, and I was told that it had been dumped. Not sure what happened, but was an unpleasant experience.
Positive experience: Most definitely one of the better gyms in the Hills. Cardio machines are fantastic giving you the opportunity to monitor your progress. Furthermore most of the staff are professional and accommodating. Overall good place to train with good atmosphere. Despite this, the gym does become very dense with people and I wonder whether the gym is breaching the number of people permitted given the small floor space.
Negative experience: I’ll not recommend this place to anyone. The instructions were so lazy, my kid was still at the same level for more than a year. It’s not a child problem it’s the instructions problem. You pay for nothing. I don’t know why it has a high rate! I asked a lot of people and they told me that they have the same problem! This place is good for adults to swim in the morning on weekdays, it will be not busy the gym is good as well and it has access to swimming but not swimming classes.
Fantastic experience: Clean n well maintained temperature
Fantastic experience: Did gymnastics here. Facilities were great and staff were professional. Would definitely come again.
Positive experience: Great venue for swimming lessons and squad training.
Negative experience: Kindergym deserves no stars, aggressive, narcissist staff misbehaving and intimidating towards parents. I would not trust this establishment to care for my kids when such persons are allowed to remain in their team.
Negative experience: The swimming supervisor on Saturday's, old lady with glasses cannot take customer feedback and just wants to argue. She shouldn't be employed in that role. Unfortunately will not be going back.
Hi Mr SmithWe are sorry that you feel that you were not heard when talking with our supervisor. We value feedback and would welcome you providing us with more details about your experience by contacting [email protected]
Fantastic experience: Nice refreshing 25m length and ~1.2m deep swimming pool to get fit. Public lanes are available from 7am on weekdays. Also they have a very good Gym with a beautiful people inside ♂️
Negative experience: congratulations castle hill gymnastics, you’ve finally achieved your goal of kicking out and destroying the Trampoline program/athletes. thanks for all the tears, anxiety, panic attacks and most of all the loss of passion and value you gave them CHG. i’m actually so so angry at how they treated the athletes, no one should ever be treated with this disrespect. no hard working individual should cry and feel broken because of their team. thanks guys for excluding Trampoline from every comp, presentation and conversation. ever since the Tramp program had a small downfall, you guys have pushed them further and further to the ground. while these athletes were training so hard and pursuing their passion while making such strong friendships, Castle Hill Gymnastics paid hardly any respect to them. they just took their money and gave them the basic essentials back. (they didn’t even take care of their tramp area and equipment). as the cherry on top of their disgusting treatment and management, they DISBANDED THE TRAMPOLINE PROGRAM 4 WEEKS BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR. no notice and no reasons why. knowing their coach was leaving while ‘trying to find a new coach’ (oh please they didn’t even advertise on their website/social medias) they just kept everything to themselves. the cowards were slack at responding to emails from the distraught parents of the athletes who deserved a proper answer and reason. they covered up the WHOLE THING as if tramp didn’t exist. the athletes sat on the side, not being mentioned (as usual) during the small in-gym presentation and the gym also didn’t even care to acknowledge the dismissal of their Tramp athletes. absolutely disgusting behaviour. (talking about squad 1 mainly), on their last training day, NONE of the main staff or anyone (im looking at you kate) even talked to the squad let alone bid them farewell. they did the bare (not even) minimum to even acknowledge the athletes they’ve pushed away. it’s like the club was embarrassed knowing what they did was wrong lol. on that day, they spent the training having fun, trying their very best (and they did so well! so proud of all of them), taking heaps of photos and sharing their last moments. despite the horrible treatment of them in the past, from the disbandment and the way it was handled, they still stood strong. tears were shed and hugs were given as they left the place they had trained and loved for 1, 2, 3 and even 9 years. these athletes will continue their Trampoline journey moving forward, having real support and feeling valued as they pursue their passions. stuff you castle hill gymnastics. - from a relative of one of the Trampoline athletes
Negative experience: They have closed the showers and change rooms for after hours people and everyone need to use the shared open area for shower, when we ask why they say it is because of covid. How come it is safe during the day when it is more busy and not after hours when it is quiet. The shared shower area is also more dangerous !!!
Positive experience: In general, it is a good place to exercise. Except for one, all of the receptionists are friendly and welcoming. There are a few things that can be improved to make it more convenient: ONE: SHOWERS! Motion sensors are ineffective for conserving water. It's so inconvenient to get wet again after you've finished drying yourself because a motion detector detected movement. 2- The lockers are outdated. I leave my stuff on the bench due to the lack of cleanliness and the appearance. Machines are cleaner, newer, and more accessible than at Virgin Active, where I previously had a membership.
Negative experience: This star is more for the admin than the teaching staff. Yes, they could do better with teaching staff as well but the administration is just pathetic. You call them, they make changes on the phone but do not update their systems. They dont coordinate btween themselves. Then when you land up the class time, they haven't made changes. The child misses first 5-7 mins in that juggling. Over all in half n hour class you get 5mins between a class of 4 to swim n then on that you already lost the time. Not sure if they do anything about multiple feedback provided. Something Needs a change definitely.
Positive experience: The pool here is neat and clean. The bathrooms are clean and the change rooms too. There is a pool for small kids and babies too. There are separate swim lanes for people who know swimming or are learning to swim. There are good instructors who are available but then for new learners one instructor is overloaded with teaching 6-7 students on an average. You can book a lane for an hour for leisure swimming or splash and play too.
Fantastic experience: I’m going to give castle hill fitness gym a 5/5 purely on the outstanding flawless customer service of Reamon, the manager. He will greet you every time, know you by name, make sure your membership and experience is perfect, really genuine guy who goes above and beyond. It adds a personable element to what is a great gym that’s always undergoing improvements of some kind/always keeping up to date.
Hi John, Thank you for the kind words about our Club and in particular about Remon. You're right, his attention to detail with getting to know people is second to none.
Negative experience: Gym is great but swimming centre is a waste of money. Classes are run by young inexperienced staff who also just keep looking at the clock. We lasted a month then I moved my son to a new swim school where is he actually learning swim skills.
Negative experience: Instructors were nice but the Swimming reception management are absolutely horrendous. In particular a person called Lynda has put us and several other parents off the process entirely. Sadly cannot recommend!
Thank you for the nice comments about our fantastic instructors, but we’re sorry you felt you had a negative experience with the administration. I understand from reading communication, that it looks like you received some great support from our admin team which you were appreciative of, but became frustrated with some of the paperwork later on. We’re sorry if this became a cause of frustration for you. We try to be diligent and professional in every aspect of what we do.All the best
Fantastic experience: The aquatic centre is not very big but still is excellent for kids and adults alike. The changing rooms were all very clean and the showers had three types of soap (or is it shampoo and conditioner?). Very Sanitary and great place for swimming.
Thanks for the positive feedback Sam. We're glad you enjoyed your time in our aquatic facilities. Cleanliness is important to us.And yes - it soap, shampoo and conditioner :)
Positive experience: Top club top instructors
Fantastic experience: Great customer service, have always had good experiences here
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff and trainers, great place for kids to learn to swim.
Fantastic experience: Did gymnastics here. Facilities were great and staff were professional. Would definitely come again.
Fantastic experience: The team have been doing a great job during lockdown & now with reopening.
Positive experience: Too many people
Positive experience: Excellent equipment in a well run venue with lots of spqce
Negative experience: Do you ever answer the phone??? Called 5 times (different days and times) and you never answered.
Positive experience: Clean facilities. Full range of equipment including pool and steam room.
Negative experience: The water was very cold. Next time that I book, I'll ask if the water heater pump is working or not. (It breaks down not inconsistently)
Fantastic experience: They are so nice the people at front of house and the gym is world class . Better than fitness first platinums and the place is clean.
Negative experience: I’m a member. No one ever picks up the phone and there is only 11 lanes that can possibly be booked. I’m not prepared to take the kids down to find out the hard way (and deal with the fall out) that all lanes are booked. Frustrating and I only live a few kms away. PLEASE SORT THIS OUT.
Negative experience: The swimming classes instructors' quality seems to be deteriorating. Not much communications to parents. I personally felt it takes very long time to go to the next stage. We finally started to go to another centre and experienced more improvement.
Negative experience: My son signed up for one year contract last year and never told that he need to terminate it in writing even after the contract period to actually stop the payments. When I questioned about the continuous payment deductions, I was told that it was in the contract, could be something hidden in small letters and had no courtesy to tell us at the time of signing the contract. My son actually questioned them just before the contract end date about the contract expiry and he was only told that it will end in 22nd Feb and no mention about the written request to stop the payment. Very disappointing and a good lesson learnt.
Positive experience: Pool facility was clean and tidy, the changing rooms and showers very clean and well managed. But even if you book your lanes, it can be filled with other members so lap swimming can be a bit tough.
Positive experience: Location is convenient to local communities and strictly follows COVID-19 safety rules. Reception staff are always friendly and helpful. Excellent communication/feedback from supervisor (s). Active carrot portal is convenient and accessible to parents but not many anecdotal notes for child/parents to follow up. Swimming program is appropriate and in progression of skills, however quality of swimming instructors, expectations and implementation vary differently. Staff turnover rate is high especially these 2 years. There are lots of wait time during the swimming lesson when there are 6-8 students to 1 swimming instructor in higher stages. Booking to the instructors during holiday lessons could not be guaranteed sometimes. Changes of instructors on the week could happen without prior notice to parents.
Fantastic experience: I'm a Fitness Passport member and can attend a wide variety of gyms. Despite this, I keep coming back to Castle Hill Fitness. The facilities and equipment are top notch. The staff are friendly and helpful. Things are kept very clean organised. As there is a lot of equipment I don't have to wait long during busy periods. It's not an intimidating environment either and the other gym goers are respectful.
Fantastic experience: Great swimming pools for kids and lovely staff
Fantastic experience: Very disappointed with Lauren, one of the trainers at the gym. She is rude, unprofessional and quite frankly she is inexperienced and unenthusiastic. All other staff are extremely helpful, knowledgable and polite, hence the 5 stars.
Hi Emily - Thanks you for the honest feedback. While we're thrilled that you find the staff helpful, knowledgeable and polite, we're concerned with the experience you had with one staff member. If you have any more details you can share, so that we can address it with that person we would appreciate it. You can email [email protected] and the manager will review your email which will be treated confidentially.
Fantastic experience: Lots of holiday swimming lessons. Good infrastructure and staff. lots of parking. Water seemed to be having less chlorine smell compared to another pool we visited.
Fantastic experience: Awesome adults gymnastics classes with great coaches, would recommend to anyone looking to try out gymnastics
Fantastic experience: Definitely best gym in the area, heaps of cardio machines and lots of space to work out, very nice and friendly staff and amazing environment.
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, clean facilities.
Hi Etienne - Thank you very much for your patronage and your kind rating. We're please to hear you are enjoying your time at Castle Hill Fitness and Aquatic Centre
Fantastic experience: Very neat and follows the COVID-19 rules I am very happy
Fantastic experience: Clean, equipped and convenient.
Fantastic experience: It's the best gym I know (and I have visited many gyms ).
Fantastic experience: Great facilities, plenty of equipment, attendance early on Sunday morning means not crowded. Excellent abiding by Covid rules
Fantastic experience: Excellent. Great facilities, professional staff, fun classes. Very satisfied.
Fantastic experience: The staff and the gym are the best I've experienced amongst the many gyms I have been to.
Fantastic experience: Great gym with super friendly staff and many classes.
Fantastic experience: Very helpful staff, nice hot showers, easy to book a lane. All good.
Fantastic experience: Good service
Fantastic experience: Very clean and well set up fitness centre. Not crowded at all when I was there.
Fantastic experience: The reception in swimming pool centre are very friendly and professional.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic facilities and friendly staff. Value for money if you are a member of the RSL.
Fantastic experience: The playground is great to keep small children busy while good coffee and food is a pleasure to parents.
Fantastic experience: They are so nice the people at front of house and the gym is world class . Better than fitness first platinums and the place is clean.
Negative experience: Terrible experience. I am writing to complaint about showers at swimming pool. My son ( 5years old ) has been attending to swimming classes on Saturdays , its has been a while that the showers don’t have any water flow . On Saturday ,My son and 4 other kids where having shower and it was impossible to clean body soap & shampoo off their body, they were very distressed and crying . I am sure you are aware of the importance of showering after the swimming pool ,Chemicals in the pool can dry out your hair or make your skin itchy, the Chlorine in the pool makes my sons skin very itchy and dry . Finally I decided to speak to Jennifer on behalf of myself and 4 other mums. She saw the situation and was very concerned but said it will happen if 4 kids have shower at the same time !! my question is : Do you expect 20 kids line up , shivering to have shower one by one ?all kids were crying and stressed . This is very stressful for our kids .My son’s shower doesn’t take more than 3 min if there is water in the shower. We had to leave with shampoo on his hair and body . I would suggest to you try having a shower with no water flow while sticking your head to the tiles to get a bit of water to see what our kids are going through . I request urgent action to fix your showers to a reasonable functional level.
Positive experience: Without the doubt the best range of facilities for a fitness centre in the Hills Shire. The gym itself has something for everyone; classes, spin cycle, yoga, free weights, machines and a good range of cardio equipment. It can get very busy at peak times so avoid the evening rush if you can. Opening hours are good from 5.00am to 11.00pm during the week. Front desk staff are friendly - in particular Remon who works the evening shift, PT's seem good. Plenty of parking but you need to be wary of events at the RSL that may increase patronage. Membership also gets access to the 25 metre pool but again this can get very busy with squads and lessons.
Negative experience: It seems our money is stolen and beware they will not return your money if need as credit with them only. In this difficult time they are not cooperative at all. They didn’t send any sms notifications alert children miss classes and sent email for reopening in this COVID time which went to my email junk box. I requested several times but seems all blame they are putting on me and not accepting their missed sms at all. If google gave me half start I will give it to them. I don’t have any trust anymore on this center. Swimming center is seven hills is far better in many cases. We have no trust so do not recommend at all.
Fantastic experience: Great gym. Friendly staff, always clean, and heaps of equipment. Worth price, none of the local gyms compare.
Fantastic experience: Best gym ever!
